Third Place Books is a local, community-centered bookstore that is a true third place where you can feel at home, happy, and cozy. It is a wonderful bookstore with tons of new and used books, where half of the books are half off and still in really good condition. The store has everything you are looking for plus many things you did not know you needed, displayed nicely with little sitting areas tucked into corners. The children's book section is phenomenal, and there is a crafting kit area, journal area, and a gift area with really unique gifts. The store is part of a larger space with a common area and food court. You can take a break next to some restaurants in the same building, which include a coffee shop, Honeybear bakery, and three ethnic food vendors with tasty offerings. There is a large room and stage for community events, informal gatherings, and live music, though the common area can get noisy. The staff is super friendly and the atmosphere is fantastic, making it a favorite place to visit and spend a lot of time.
I could spend all day in this store. It's local, community-centered, and they have everything you're looking for plus many things you didn't know you needed ? You can even take a break in the little food court. My favorite is the Mediterranean place. But back to books. Buy them!
