The front desk and housekeepers were friendly and helpful. The room was nice, the bed was very comfortable. It is very conveniently attached to Virginia Mason Hospital.

Great people that work there make this an amazing place to stay. There are not enough words to say how awesome the staff are here! Gigi on the desk and Marie in housekeeping do an absolutely amazing job as well as the other staff.

Aside from being in a dead cell service with atrocious wifi speeds, outlets won’t hold plugs, the furniture is loose and creaky and no AC in the room. I’ve stayed at a Ramada for 30 bucks cheaper and better amenities then this 100 year old hotel. Don’t plan to be able to do any business or video calls at this location. Better off lurking at a coffee shop in the neighborhood.

This hotel has so much potential. Some reviews said it has a "vintage charm" but, there wasn't any charm or a vintage feel here when I stayed. Everything just felt outdated and just kept well enough to get by. I think with a few cosmetic changes and a good vision, the correct management can give it a "vintage charm". (AC's in the rooms VS a window fan would be a good start.) The location is REALLY good and overall my stay here wasn't bad. I thought the Inn would have a more vintage style inside, but just an average hotel in a good location.Walkability: Close to downtown, shops and restaurants.

Parking was a real nightmare!! I wouldn’t stay here again because who wants to spend 20 mins circling the block after driving for hours to cross the border ??♀️ but that’s a me problemStayed here for a night after a show at climate pledge. It’s probably fine if you are heading out soon and don’t have high or specific expectations ? the room was clean, and it wasn’t too hot even without an AC. The wifi does absolutely suck though

It's one of those historic hotels. Very cool building and rooms. Charming, lots of character. I wasn't visiting the hospital but the location is good in general, however, it is up a hill, so know that if you walk somewhere, you're going to have quite a hike back. I know parking is an issue but we were only staying one night so we parked on the street and paid for the evening and it was fine. There is one elevator and it is small. Also, our room did not have any air conditioning. I don't know if every room is like that, but it's something to be aware of. That being said, I slept fine without AC and the bed was comfortable.

Very friendly and helpful front desk staff. Hard to figure out where parking might be. The room was very musty to the point where we had a box fan running in our room before even getting in there, the sink leaked and was cracked, and the tub drained super slowly and filled with water while showering. That being said, it was a relatively cheap stay in a good area for exploring.

We reported a sink in the bathroom that was JUST STANDING THERE, WITH OUT CEMENTED TO THE WALL or ATTACHED TO THE WALL,like its suppose to. Front desk asked US, if the maintenance can go IN THE ROOM? We said YES. BUT they NEVER DID. And let us stayed there for 10 days without any communication. The day we checked out THEY FINALLY SENT A2 MAINTENANCE TO COME INTO OUR ROOM AND CHECKED THE SINK. One of them said, I CAN NOT BELIEVE THEY DID NOT MOVE YOU TO ANOTHER ROOM. CAUSE THAT IS DANGEROUS. SO WE TOLD HIM LUCKILY NOTHING HAPPENED, CAUSE THAT WOULD BE VERY BAD. We understand the building is OLD, BUT UNATTACHED SINK IS NOT SAFE OR ACCEPTABLE

Terrible. The front desk person was salty when we checked in. The toilet didn’t work in our first room and waste sat in it for 6 hours after we were assured it would be fixed promptly. When we returned at 10:30pm it wasn’t fixed. We were given another room (despite being told when we reported the toilet issue that they were fully booked) there was so much rot outside the bathtub that it felt like we would fall through the floor. Both rooms had a chipped paint everywhere and were generally junky all around. Bonus that there was no AC in the building which was not made obvious when we booked. All for $230/night. These guys aren’t even trying. Avoid.

Where to begin... check in was frustrating, make sure whom ever is listed on reservations is the one checking in. ***note This hotel has NO AC, one window in our room was not operational, they do provide a box fan. Bathroom door didn't shut (knob just turned), towels are thin and scritchy, mattress was hard as a rock and thin. And the WiFi is ridiculous- not secure and kept getting booted off. No way you can work from this hotel. They do have a fridge and a lounge chair and coffee maker and a lovely view from the roof top patio. Upon Check out, our in laws card was charged for our room- which was not the card that was given when checking in. Good thing we checked before getting on the road.

This is a very clean old hotel. They take very good care of the rooms. It isn't the fanciest hotel but very charming. The location is great as well. Very friendly staff.Normal check out time is noon. I don't know of any other hotel that doesn't try to kick you out by 11:00.I would stay here again.

Staff greeted us very warmly and that was the last of our pleasure. Room was hot and stuffy. No AC, windows barely opened so the fan couldn't pull in fresh air. The sink was hanging on the wall by a prayer. I was changing clothes and in my birthday suit when two guests walked in. Not sure who was more embarrassed. The front desk had given the guests the wrong room number and keys to our room. Problem fixed but no apology just an explanation. I've stayed in backstreet hostiles that were better. One other good note, despite all the inconvenience, it was really clean.

Really out of the way hotel. It's next to an emergency room so there's that. At least I think there's a Starbucks in the ER next door. The room itself is perfectly acceptable. Just aged. Bathroom fine. Weirdly large closet which is unusual. The shower shampoo and soap smelled unusually good and that was a plus. Bathroom door traps you in. Old building. No AC. When we arrived it was 83 degrees in our room - we arrived at 10:30 at night. They just don't have AC. You are presented with a choice: close your windows and suffer the heat or open them and listen to the hospital drone of HVAC constantly but feel slightly cooler. The sound is like sleeping on an airplane. So hey if you like sleeping in a sweat box this is your place.

There is no functional air conditioning in any of the hotel rooms which would have been nice to know so i could have chosen a different hotel. I had to use the provided box fans to prop open the windows which allowed the very nice smell of Pot into the room. The Wi-Fi is decent I guess but overall, don't go here. Find a hotel with air conditioning. Front desk staff was nice but that's about the only nice thing I can say about this place.

We got to the hotel really early and we were told "it's June in Seattle, you'll be lucky to get in before 4"( in a rather snarky tone). After a hot day and an uphill walk of 10 blocks, we discover that the fan can not be plugged in at the same time as the TV. So we could cool off or watch TV but not both. There was a broken recliner in the hallway outside of our room our entire stay. The room was dark and dilapidated and the wifi cut in and out on a regular basis. Given our "greeting" at the start of our stay, we didn't expect much help, so we didn't ask.
