These people are so rude. I work nearby and stopped by on my lunch break to ask a couple question and was treated so rudely by the older blonde lady behind the desk. Not even a smile or a hello then completely ignored me after commenting on how "cheap" she thought the jewelry I brought in was. The man came up as well to add in his distaste of the items I brought in to ask questions about. That little strip of Queen Anne is so charming and pleasant and the people are nice but I would avoid this place at all costs, these people are anything but nice. Take your business elsewhere.

I recently visited Swissa Jewelers, an iconic old-school jeweler in Queen Anne that, unfortunately, seems to have online reviews/accusations of rudeness and bad service. As a longtime customer and fan, I feel compelled to defend them. Swissa offers a unique and unforgettable experience tailored to clientele who appreciate their no-nonsense, cost-saving approach, and exceptional craftsmanship. If you seek a more generic service experience, head to Turgeon Raine or Tiffany’s, and pay 10x more for your diamonds and gold. This establishment is unapologetically authentic. Moti has a straightforward and direct demeanor, seemingly perceived as rudeness, and he is part of Swissa’s charm. Moti provides honest advice without sugarcoating things. If you or your significant other can't handle Moti - an old man with a 5 pound dog, who owns a small business with his wife of many years - can they really handle the hardships of life?Moti, similar to the iconic East Coast soup stand owner in Seinfeld portrayed by Larry Thomas in Season 7, Episode 6, is a unique character. I often tease him and eagerly anticipate his most "rude" responses that never fail to make me smile. He is a great banterer. Here's to Moti and the distinctive experience he offers, as he won't be around much longer. Please remind him that he is old and that he may not understand how the world has changed. I hope you are reading this, Moti, and look forward to and anticipate your "rude" response.

My son and I had a wonderful experience at Swissa Jewelers. The owners were extremely kind, personable, and helpful. They listened intently as we described what we were looking for and clearly had our best interests at heart. They even showed us options to save money. Their jewelry is beautiful. I love supporting the local businesses on Queen Anne and would definitely recommend them.

I went in with my husband to have our wedding bands resized and we left speechless. When I was trying to decide which size I wanted to go to, I was told that every time I question the man who was helping us the cost of the resizing goes up. Then when I was unsure about if I should go up 1/4 of a size he said yes because "your going to gain weight, all women do". Then when he wanted a contact number for getting my ring resized he cut me off and said he wanted my husbands number, even though it was my ring and I told him that I work from home. I had to push him to be the contact on my own piece.I don't know if this man hates women or what the problem was, but finally we said that we were going to take our business elsewhere. I could tell that the woman who was working at the same time was embarrassed and she did give me an apologetic look.We didn't react in the moment, but once we got into the car I started to cry. I was belittled and humiliated by this man, and I genuinely did nothing.

I decided I was done waiting/trying to get small enough to fit back into my wedding rings--and went into Swissa to discuss my options for transferring my original stones while creating my own style. I went in with a bit of a punchy attitude, made jokes about my situation, etc. Both the man and the lady were around. They were helpful, chatty, and had an easy back and forth with each other--that kind of banter that can only comes from many years of marriage. They reminded me so much of my husband and me, and I can't help but hope to have that same report with my husband in 30+ years. I was in the store for probably an hour and a half--as they walked me through sizing, rings that best suit my diamond, etc. They were comfortable telling me that the rings I thought I wanted weren't well suited to my hands. Their attention to detail was excellent. I appreciated their honesty and directness. My rings came back beautifully, well within their estimated finish time. I encourage others to go in here knowing this couple is a little spicy, but they're very charming and do an amazing job.It feels really grown up to say something like "My Jeweler"... but, well, Swissa is now my Jeweler!

Yep, everyone else is right. Stopped by because I enjoy fine jewelry and was on my way somewhere. The guy working asked if I had any questions and then just ignored me when I asked….Wasn’t attentive at ALL and was doing busy work while I looked. Terrible salesman and incredibly rude. I will say a lot of the jewelry was my style but I would also honestly worry about their customer service if I had bought something and there was an issue. Just felt scummy. Won’t be back

Wanted a new gold watch since the first one I bought years before was cheap. Found this store was close by. I saw it had a 3.7 star rating but it was within walking distance. Their website showed some gold watches I liked so I walked to it. It's a warm day so I was in shorts and a t shirt. Woman looked at my wife and I like we couldn't afford anything there. The man didn't even look in our direction. We were the only ones there. I told her I wanted a watch. She immediately got up and followed me from behind the counter, which is normal, but she didn't say anything. Just watched. The watches I saw online weren't in store. They had very little selection. I turned around to her to ask if that was all their inventory. Before I could finish the sentence, she snapped back and said "yes" with a demeaning tone. My wife and I were put off and left. The man didn't even acknowledge us. I'm not spending my money at a place where I felt judged for seemingly not having money to buy anything in the store.

This couple were great to deal with when I was shopping for a necklace for my wife. They took the time to show me a number of items and boxed it up perfectly for a surprise gift. Quality jewelry.

The man (I assume owner) was amazingly rude, mocked me for being deaf, and wanted $185 to resize a ring. The guy clearly hates dealing with human beings.

Last week I placed an online order for a $200 watch advertised on the Swissa website. Today I called to check on the status of my order. The owner said he cancelled my order because the item was out of stock. No phone call. No text. No email. Give me a break!
