My wife had the first ultrasound in her third trimester here and the tech, Kayla, was the perfect mixture of attentive, calming, competent, and kind. We so appreciate people like her and just wanted to share our overwhelmingly positive experience.

Phenomenal to say the least. The Staff were warm and welcoming. We waited nearly 5min before our Ultrasound. Quiet and modern. They were happy to answer all of our questions w/ a Consultant at the end 5 stars

Men, leave the cologne at home. This is not the place to show up drowning in it. Making a bunch of pregnant women sick with your over the top scent.

Grateful to this place for taking care of my family but if you're the father, be wary of security. They seemed to harass me at every turn, asking where I was going, even after I clearly had a wristband. One of them even started to question me in front of the vending machines and I had to ask what's with the 3rd degree! If you can't trust who's in your lobby, find a better system so that people like me don't feel like they just got racially profiled.

I was referred to this clinic after an abnormal ultrasound, I live in a small town in Alaska so we are referred out for most things. The outcome of the ult was not good as we had suspected - but the staff throughout the clinic was magnificent, especially Tessa the genetic counselor. They set up every appointment for you, they answered any and all of my questions, they set up my other appointments outside of Swedish and prepared me for that. I could not be more grateful to have been sent to them, I can't thank them enough. <3

Identical twin parents beware: this doctor refuses to do the MCA dopplers that are needed and supported by research in identical twin pregnancies. For more information on this topic google MCA Dopplers John C. Hopkins. Save your babies from undiagnosed TAPS BEFORE it's too late. I've had their US techs tell me my twins were a totally different type than they actually were, their staff be incredibly rude (front desk lady), and their billing practices are unethical. They are billing for outpatient hospital visits despite not seeing you in an outpatient hospital setting

We had a great experience at our appointment yesterday. Everyone was nice and polite from the moment we walked in. We were nervous about the appointment due to the lack of information given to us by the OB office that referred us. Our ultrasound tech was wonderful and explained everything she did and was looking at. The doctor came in and was so friendly and made us feel so much better about our situation and he just reassured us that everything was going to be ok. All of our questions were answered and we felt heard about our concerns. We could not have asked for a better visit.

I went to Swedish Maternal Fetal Medicine weekly for months and every single appointment I had could not have been a better experience. They are so on top of everything, I felt so well taken care of. The doctors and nurses took their time to talk to my husband and I and made sure we understood everything, and we never felt rushed. Giving birth at Swedish was an equally amazing experience. Super thankful for everyone who helped us.

My experience is that this clinic used to be awesome they listened to there patients lately I been feeling a huge disconnect that leaves me 37 weeks wanting to go to valley for my delivery I feel they don't listen to the patients it's like a kid tug a war if you don't do what they say you don't get any of your request e.g. I went in yest fetal movement was different and I had a slight headache checked in did urine sat on nst mind you I have a o.b. appt wed this was Monday I went in so anyway I went to see nurse after and asked if had to ask mind you after having cerlage removed another story last week if they check me and can they stretch my cervix well she checked me bit said oh if you want your cervix checked your to come in 2 more days for them to do that I said well im here now is there a med reason why we can't proceed now no response well basically for last few weeks I been told if you don't do this we won't do that she said you have a bbt ultrasound I was like ok but im concerned now whats the difference between mon and Wed I'm grown this is 5th child and it feels they play a cat and our game several time I asked for care and request that has went ignored I don't feel to trust swedishaternal any longer and going to take my chances were they might actually listen to the patients in stead of how there handling things I have not really had a good experience and wouldn't recommend anyone to go there listening to the patient is most important to a point I know all is not always accomidible but active listen helps ease a high risk patients mind because in the end the patients the one who gonna suffer not the doctor

When I was sent here I was very nervous based on these terrible reviews but I needed to come here to make sure I set the record straight. Yes, they do NOT answer the phone. I learned this the hard way (on hold for an hour) but if you leave a message they really do get back to you. Every single person I interacted with there was so kind and gentle with me. I needed to see a genetic counselor and Ursula went (and continues) to go above and beyond. All the nurses and doctors were great and kind and professional. I hope I never have to come back here again, but they gave me amazing care.

The doctors, genetic counselors, and social workers were all amazing. They squeezed me in for appts, were kind, sensitive, informative, and amazing. I experienced a loss and Swedish MFM and the nurses at Swedish first hill were amazing. If you have a high risk pregnancy go here.

I delivered my daughter a year ago, and Swedish was the absolute best place for me to deliver her at. I had a high-risk pregnancy due to a fetal abnormality, my doctor stayed on top of everything for us, and even came in for my scheduled c-section on her day off. I felt confident in my doctor's knowledge and suggestions on how to handle our journey. My pregnancy was a wild ride, but I'm so thankful for the care I was provided.

I have been seriously underwhelmed by the OBs at Swedish MFM. They'll tell you over and over again how much they love their team and working together, but that doesn't translate to quality patient care. While the nurses and diabetes educators have been absolutely wonderful, the actual MDs leave a lot to be desired. Just a few answers I've been given to questions I've asked:Q: "What kind of tea can I have/what ingredients should I avoid?"OB's answer: "I don't know anything about tea."Q: "Can you tell me why you want to induce me?"OB's answer: "We usually induce diabetics.""Okay, but what is the reason?"OB: "Inductions reduce stillbirths."Q: "BUT WHY"I had to go to Google for this one. The answer is that your placenta deteriorates due to the demands of taking insulin. The only one to educate me on this was a wonderful nurse, who was able to provide a thorough explanation after I specifically asked about placental deterioration.Q: "How have patients been handling wearing masks during active labor?"OB's answer: "I wear a mask when I run and it's fine."Time and again I am met with inept answers from doctors who seem as though they should be well-qualified to educate their patients, yet refuse or are unable to provide even the merest education. Flippant responses equating going on a jog to a serious, traumatic medical event are condescending and undermine any trust I might have in the decisions they make for me or pressure me into during labor.I ended up hiring a doula through Swedish to help protect me from what I feel is an extreme disinterest and dismissal of patients that want more from an OB experience than simply accepting everything they say as gospel truth. Honestly, I should not have had to spend almost $2,000 simply to have peace of mind in the delivery room. My recommendation: If you have to go to Swedish MFM for high-risk care, try to get your OB elsewhere. I feel incredibly stuck with this experience due to COVID (I want to reduce my risk of exposure as much as possible and visiting multiple clinics for appointments is not feasible for that goal) and having invested so much money in a doula, but I do think that if you can avoid using their care, you'll probably be happier and less anxious.
