Been here for a decade and like others, constantly being shifted from one doctor to another without any notice or choice. One doctor I had for years essentially ghosted their job, no one knew when she was coming back until she never did. Meds are impossible to get even those you will need for life. Empathy and compassion are even harder to find.No mental health help as the teaching therapists last even less than the MD.This place makes you wait a long time for a response. the front deck used to be helpful but has been rude and incompetent for 6 years since everyone decent left.10 years ago I’d recommend this to someone but now I say “stay away “

Don't come here if you have disabilities or mental health issues. You'll get gas lit by the doctors and they'll take away medications that had been working for you in the past. I'm all for learning environments but year after year of being shifted from one resident doctor to another has taught me that these people have absolutely no idea what they're doing and none of them are going to be good doctors in the future. You're lucky if your doctor even shows up for your appointment. I'm currently editing this as I sit waiting for someone to show up for a virtual appointment after the office has already closed. I just need my correct dosage of meds but we can't even seem to manage that

I have been a patient here for almost a decade. In that time, I only had one doctor that I didn't think made a good choice for me. Easily enough, I didn't see that one again. Every other provider has been friendly, professional, responsive, and listens to my experience. I wish they didn't have to leave, but there's always another good person who comes in for their residency.

I do not understand the bad reviews. I have gone there for a decadeand they always went out of there way to do their best for me. And yes if doctors are full that day, you will be sent to urgent care.

Totally terrible treatment. They have continually failed me as a patient. Their latest? Today I called in with pink eye and they said they were too busy and I should utilize urgent care instead. They simply do not care about people as patients.

Do you want to get a different doctor every time you visit because nobody wants to work here and they all leave for better places? Do you want to be refused in-office visits when you ask for them and made to use telehealth? Do you want to pay the same crazy-high fee for telehealth as in-office? If so, there is an open spot on the new patient list here because I will never set foot in this dump again. What a horrid, extortionate, useless carnival of charlatans.

Called to get a check-up appointment for my child as we already been there. Lady on the phone was absolutely useless. First she was trying to convince me we never been there and then was trying to convince me we only saw a male doctor. When we originally were seeing a female doctor. She said they don’t have records of that. Makes me doubt the professionalism of your clinic. Never going back.

Have had multiple medical issues that didn't fall under urgent care but need to taken care of before the 6-8 weeks to make an appointment I was quoted for. Make you jump through a ton of hoops just to get in and unfortunately it's the nearest Swedish campus near me and now I have to drive 15 mins to the nearest one.

I've been going here for over 35 years and have always had excellent care. Even after moving 250 miles away, I still come to Ballard Family Medicine.

I was looking for a family doctor because I didn't want to go to a different doctor than my daughter. It's crazy how everyone isn't taking new patients or has a 3 month wait around here. I guess it's just a sign of the growing city. I called Swedish Family Medicine and they could get us in when I wanted and were super nice over the phone. The office staff has been so helpful and the nurse we see is just great. She takes the time to talk to my toddler and make her feel comfortable. Dr Mountjoy has been great answering all my questions. I know it's a rotation for her and I'll miss her but we'll stick with this practice. The whole staff makes the experience great.
