I'd like to start off by saying I am not a client of Sound Veterinary Rehabilitation Center. However, I have seen Dr. Joseph while she was competing her Residency at CSU in Ft. Collins, Colorado. I brought my very senior dog up to the Orthopedic Medicine and Mobility department at CSU to see what could be done for his Osteoarthritis.Dr. Joseph really helped my dog Murphy with a joint injection and some shockwave therapy Dr. Joseph is exceptionally gifted. She has a positive demeanor which was always comforting for me. She always seemed to have an answer to my questions. She displays the kind of confidence you would encounter in a seasoned DVM. Other words that I would use to describe Dr. Joseph are friendly, empathetic, and compassionate. For those of you who work with Dr. Joseph, you are really lucky to have her as part of your team. And, for those of you who have a dog or cat with some mobility issues, I would like you to know that you'll get the best care from Dr. Joseph.Thank you, Dr. Gina for giving Murphy the best care. I am so grateful.

I wish I could give 10 stars. 100% would recommend Sound Rehab Center to any pet owner looking for orthopedic care.Dr. Ottinger is one of the best veterinarians I have ever worked with in the Seattle area. He is knowledgeable, compassionate, and thoughtful. He’s worked with me and my German Shepherd Anja to get her the proper treatment plan for hip dysplasia, and an unusual bodies spasm. He didn’t give up on her until we found the right treatment that worked for her. That dedication he has to his patients is palpable.I would absolutely trust Anja’s life under his care.Thank you so much Dr. Ottinger and Team for taking such great care of Anja.

My 14 year old pitbull had double Acl surgery at 12 and we were referred to sound vet for his rehab. Vanessa and the entire staff at sound vet have been very supportive and innovative with suggestions and expertise, advising me on how to keep my dog feeling his best in his elder years. My dog has severe ptsd and the entire staff have been so compassionate in assisting him each time he goes into the facility. He actually enjoy it and is excited to go into the building to see Vanessa and friends. Dr. Knapp has also provided ample and effective natural and western medicine recommendations for my dog. Dr. Knapp is very knowledgeable regarding general wellness and orthopedic wellness.

It’s difficult to convey the depth of my gratitude for the team here. My dog, Maxx, recently became paralyzed from the waist down. We saw a neurologist and began physical therapy immediately. We are now just over two months post-onset. Maxx’s right leg and tail have made a full recovery. I attribute much of that to the wonderful team here.Thank you so much.

STELLAR!!!! Where do I even begin...... before I took my precious Rottweiler to sound for her TPLO surgery, I spent months searching for the highest rated orthopedic surgeon in the greater Seattle area. From the consultation to surgery, post surgery to what I call the best part of recovery being PT, this is the place to go. Our baby girl had her first PT here two years ago post surgery. Covid precautions were exceptional & even though I was sad I couldn't sit in our girl took to Peggy & she was kind enough to send us videos during her sessions. Peggy is phenomenal & has over 20 years experience with/ PT. She is so knowledgeable, great at educating further baby parents. She has the passion & cares deeply about her patients. Flash forward to now.... My baby had her second TPLO surgery & currently is in PT w/ Peggy by request. Since Covid restrictions were lifted I am able to be present w/ my daughter & see Peggy's magic in action. She explains the different exercises, is carefully watching her progress, helps show me how to massage, do the at home exercises, & is just fantastic to talk to. I cannot say enough great things about the PT portion of post surgery. It's made my baby's quality of life so much better & she's getting stronger everyday. If you want a place that cares about your pet in every sense go here. The team on the surgery side & rehabilitation side are top notch. I'll never go anywhere else. I must add that her old assistant Jeff was fantastic & her new one Kathy are incredible as well. They all deserve recognition. I'm sorry to those I forgot to mention!

My dog has been getting acupuncture here for over a year and it is made a world of difference for her. She's 15 and she plays and she runs. Which was not the case before we started the acupuncture.

Sound Vet has done fantastic work with my aging Amstaff; I’ve been taking him here for about 10 years! Dr. Knapp is amazing and the entire team here is absolutely top notch. They have helped my best friend live his fullest life and I have surely enjoyed a few extra quality years with him thanks to the care received here, and for this I am forever grateful. As a professional dog trainer, I can confidently recommend all of my clients, friends and family come see my friends at Sound Vet Rehab!!

This place is awesome! They were able to help us with diagnosing our dogs arthritis, are very responsive and I can tell they have the best interest for the dog in mind when recommending treatment (versus just making money like some other places we have been in the past). Dr. Ottinger gave us lots of good recommendations and is helping our guy get treated.

We love the team here! My dog had bilateral elbow arthroscopy at their sister clinic next door (Animal Surgical and Orthopedic Center) and we came here for post-operative rehabilitation. Our first visit was a consult with Dr. Mark Ottinger where we went over what our goals were, recommendations for long-term medication and supplements, what to expect during and after rehab, and review of everything my dog currently eats. The team does a great job of listening to my concerns and adjusting their treatment plans accordingly. I saw some clients wait in the car while their dogs go through their rehab sessions, and others can choose to join their dogs. I opted to join my dog, as we did hydrotherapy on the regular and she has a fear of water. The SOUND team is very cognizant of helping your dog create a positive association with the exercises performed here, and they provide lots of yummy treats (with your permission, of course) to help with that. My dog loved coming here so much that by the third session, she didn't mind the water at all and would hop into the hydrotherapy tank all on her own! She would also scream as soon as she saw the vet techs come out to escort her into the building. 'Rehab' seems to be her favorite word nowadays. Thank you so much for the wonderful experience!

Excellent vets. . Covid rules in place, as they are at other emergency vets. There are long wait times for. Veterinary. Services right now, so patience required, but the care is great.
