Give Capoeira a try , it changed my life. Contra Mestra Tigresa is one of a kind. Extremely knowledgeable in her craft. She makes learning fun. Current location is at Suenos de Salsa studio - Lake City Way at NE 125th St. This is a fabulous capoeira group run by Contra Mestra Tigresa. Excellent classes for kids and adults - lots of fun, a great workout and a wonderful, inclusive community

Contra Mestra Tigresa leads a welcoming and inclusive community of new and experienced capoeira practitioners. She sets a great example for kids and adults to train hard, have fun, and support each other. the new location at Suenos de Salsa on Lake City Way at 125th is clean and inviting for training. Capoeira is a lot of fun, combining elements of self-defense, music, dance, acrobatics, history, and linguistics. Come try a class!
