Ok could this be the best company for people to work for, because every person there is a 5 star happy employee.I have been going here, and Tacoma, for a little over a year for a few projects. Every person there is happy, and way eager to help no matter the request. They seek you out, ask if you need help, smile as if you are their best friend. Just crazy and not something you see with genuine sincerity.I don't know where this has come from but it's usually from the top, good or bad, it's usually from the top.My highest recommendation

Love this place! Very dangerous to go there with a truck, you’ll want to take home everything!! Tons of good re-usable stuff.

Great place to pick up building materials for a significantly lower price than new.Staff is friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. The sell rates are incredibly low but it's something.

Very expensive more than Lowe's or home Depot everything is outrageous prices . Been building homes many years this place is not the place you like to see very old stuff very bad quality used and broken stuff everywhere there trying to just sell higher for there own gain from people with good hearts that come drop there home used stuff instead of the landfill. I'm just being totally honest. My personal experience.

Fun selection of used parts.Prices are steep, half of new.I would like to see even deeper discounts to make it worth it.

Awesome salvage for both style and repairs or raw materials. The best pricing on real wood trim, tons of interesting stuff. Bring them stuff they can use and they issue credit too!

Great place to wander around for an hour or so, whether there's something particular you need or nothing at all. Friendly staff, fair prices, well-organized.

This is my favorite place to find interesting and useful things for a decent price. Not everything is cheap, but you can easily find a diamond in the rough. I have found rolling carts, workbenchies, art framing wood, etc.

I located a miter saw on their website that was at the Seattle location. It was a perfect find for $25! They have all sorts of recycled materials such as tools, cabinets, lighting, and doors.

I love shopping here for my home improvement needs. The staff is extremely helpful and courteous. Their vintage lighting is fantastic and reasonably priced. They even offer rewiring services! Of all the building salvage companies in the area, Second Use is second to none for customer service and selection.

i dropped off some of my moms salon sinks and chairs last Saturday because she is doing a remodel. 4 bellvedere sinks and 4 shampoo salon chairs. The men that load the items onto the carts told me they do not take salon equipment "it wouldn't sell". "they would loose money if they took the salon equipment". they offered to take the equipment to the dump for me. I wasn't sure of the price or what they could sell it for and I'm not gonna bargain with them if they don't take the equipment... if you say you don't take the equipment and you can't sell it then that's-that. I was in a rush that day and I said "thanks for taking it to the dump for me"I look at the website for salon equipment a week later because I was suspicious I got played and was being lied to after I talked to my mom about the situation. turns out these folks will take advantage of people! Overall disappointed with the experience. I'd rate the service as a -5. Bunch of punks.they made at least $200 off of everything ... trolls. Stay on your toes out there!

Great place to find used building supplies. They have an amazing selection of tiles, faucets, windows, lights, electrical items, and AI much more and very good prices. There's a wide variety of vintage items and more modern stuff. I've seen church pews, solid oak doors, a massive hotel bar setup, and even an ice cream counter straight out of a fifties diner. You'll usually find what you need, but regardless, it's fun to shop there. Friendly, helpful staff, too!

This place can be hit or miss with pricing sometimes if whether it is truly a good deal or not so do your research. But we have purchased several items for a remodel that helped us save money. Staff is also usually very friendly! We enjoy walking around and seeing all the different items that come in.
