We parked here for a show at the Showbox. Very nice parking garage. However, when we got back to the building after 11pm it was sealed tighter than Fort Knox with no way to get in the building. This caused the family to panic. We finally found the button to call security and thankfully they let us back in the building to get the car. The problem is there was no signs or hours posted that warned us that they were going to close up the building they need to improve on the communication of this. They had a nice little business cards to remind you what floor are you parked on. They could've easily listed the hours on the cards or warned you that they were going to close up the building in the evening.

I don't typically think about Yelp for parking garage reviews but I regret not looking. Seattle has plenty of parking garages for all the various restaurants and shops downtown. I was visiting a restaurant a block and a half from this garage so I thought sure! I saw it said they were opened until 9 PM and I was going to be done much sooner than that. I noted the short, small stalls and tight turns which neither surprised me because that's par for the course. I saw it was on the pricier side but figured I would be paying for convenience. And it was only a couple hours so figured why not - it was bright, clean, and nice. What I didn't anticipate was though the garage supposedly is open until 9 the building closes earlier. I came back shortly after 7 PM to find all the doors locked. I tried using the security call box near the parking garage entrance - the one near a sign that says to use "after hours" - and found no response. I called security using the number on my ticket and got a hold of someone who said he would be out. After ten minutes someone else came out and I managed to get in that way. Then when I attempted to pay the machine wouldn't acknowledge my credit card. It took a couple different cards before I found one that worked in that machine. It was an extremely frustrating experience.
