Dr Hormel and Julie are the dream team of knees! ? They did me a big favor today and assessed my shoulder. He doesn't do shoulders, so you'll need to head downstairs ?,if you need surgery. Anyway, I'm a previous knee surgery patient, I refer my patients to him and others at OPA. Honestly, I wouldn't have any appendage surgery without them! Now off to my shoulder checklist.✅

Dr. Scott Hormel was very professional. He looked directly at me and addressed my concerns. After reviewing my x-rays we decided on a conservative approach of physical therapy for the next few weeks with the possibility of a MRI in the future if necessary. He was very outgoing and friendly. I would give him more stars if I could! Also, he was punctual and I didn't have too wait.Bravo!

Dr. Hormel has been a great provider from the start. He is down-to-Earth, sincere, engaging, and brings such uplifting enthusiasm, no matter one's condition. His team members have all been excellent as well.

Dr. Hormel was prompt to my appointment. He listened to my issues with my knee and immediately order X-Rays. He then spent time explaining my options. He is professional and knowledgable. I have recommended him to many of my friends.

I have been going to Dr Hormel for over 30 years. My first surgery was when I was 15 years old. He has done 3 knee reconstructions, one knee replacement and a shoulder surgery for me. I haven’t had any problems with any surgery that he’s done. Grateful for his awesome assist, Julie, and his knowledge and expertise. I wouldn’t have been able to stay competitive in sports without this team of great people.

Dr. Hormel did a double knee replacement for me… 3 months apart (8 years ago) my knees are holding up amazingly and have given me no issues. I strongly recommend him. And he’s a nice person too!!! (Extra screws and staples are from past surgeries… pre replacement!

Dr. Hormel was very personable, compassionate, thorough and concerned about my needs! And as an added bonus, my appointment was right on time. I also want to add that his staff and x ray Technicians were excellent as well!

Dr. Hormel and his staff did a wonderful job of facilitating and scheduling my shoulder surgery. Dr. Hormel made himself readily available to me and to my family before and after the procedure.This was my second rotator cuff repair with Dr. Hormel so I already had high confidence in Dr. Hormel. I knew I would be well cared for and I was. I'm grateful to have such a competent and caring staff on my care team.

I had a total right knee replacement on March 8, 2023 and I couldn't be happier with the results. I was able to walk after a short time in the recovery room and was on my way home. Dr Hormel and my physical therapist both said I was a "poster child" for a knee replacement after seeing my great results.I am the seventh person in our extended family who have had knee replacements from Dr Hormel and all have had good results. Highly recommend Dr. Hormel and his team (Julie) for your busted knees. They’re knowledgeable, supportive, and friendly. My appointments have always to the point and efficient, but never rushed or cold. My surgery and healing have been as easy as possible, and they even navigated a challenging insurance situation without me even asking them to do so - I showed up for an appointment and it had already been taken care of. Very grateful!

Dr. Hormel far exceeded my expectations. He was very friendly and thorough. He took time to explain myMRI and knee surgery. He answered allof our questions. I feel so much better after my appointment with him about my upcoming surgery and recovery and thankful we chose to go to Dr Hormel.
