I shopped around for a new couch, and I was very pleased with the customer service and selection at Room & Board. Specifically, the designer Abigail, was extremely knowledgeable and helpful while she patiently guided me through my decision. It was a great experience!

TLDR: They need new logistics management software/people. Do yourself a favor and shop elsewhere.The furniture is nice. The staff were all kind.Delivery dates are purely estimates. And be warned that when an in-store agent offers their help, they are useless when actual problems arise.We dropped $10k on furniture to accommodate family staying with us and we were comfortable with R&Bs delivery dates. After a couple weeks passed, and as the beginning of the delivery window approached, we learned that the items would arrive at least 3 days after the latest original delivery date. At this point, we can't reasonably cancel our order and find furniture elsewhere.Desperate to receive at least some of the items, I asked if I could come to the warehouse to get whatever would be available. I was told that the entire shipment would not be available in time. All of it was late and it took them up until the delivery dates to realize this?At the core is ineptitude about anticipating and communicating logistics management. Given how much of their volume is shipped, it is shocking that they wouldn't communicate as soon as a disruption occurred. As a result, now we can't get equivalent furniture in time elsewhere, which means we'll have to spend more money to work around this problem.If you can, just go somewhere else. Avoid the headache.

We fell in love with this couch when we saw it in the store. After waiting for a few months, we got our first dream sectional couch. Fast forward 2 years, and it's a massive regret. Two of the back cushions have lost their shape quickly, and feathers keep poking through the cushion and spilling out. Just a few feathers might be expected, but we're talking about HUNDREDS. When we take the cushion out of the case to try to solve the problems, tons of feathers come out - and this keeps happening.We contacted R&B to check if our warranty could solve this but were told that this was normal. They actually suggested that we shake the cushions once a week and vacuum up the feathers. Come on - who has time to fluff their couch cushions and vacuum up feathers every week? So we ended up purchasing replacement cushions, hoping they would be better.We bought this sofa as it was beautiful and considered it a long-term investment. Given that we started having these issues within 1 year of owning the couch, we do not plan on purchasing from Room & Board again. If you want a high quality sofa backed by a strong warranty, please look elsewhere.

I went to see if there was any good couch i could see. I love the quality and design of the furniture and products they carry. The crew was nice and accommodating with all the questions I had. I will come back and get the couch I liked soon. :)

There is no doubt that the furniture here is beautiful, and I would expect so for the price, but it was very hard to get help and when I did get help, each person seemed annoyed that I had bothered them. I’d think if I was about to spend 5000 on a table that I wouldn’t be seen as an annoyance…

Daniel and Paul from the moving team were friendly and professional. They not only helped me move the couch I ordered into my home but adjusted the various parts so that it functioned properly and smoothly. Much appreciated guys!!

The store is weirdly obsessive about keeping all the pillows in order. If I am to buy a sofa ofcourse we need to sit and test it out before dumping $2000+ on it. An employee was super passive-aggressively putting pillows in order closely following us after we sat on any piece.I dont want to pull the race card but it really seemed racist. There were many other people trying out furniture as well but this employee was only following us. And when we were the only people of color in the store its hard to believe it was just a coincidence that this employee was just following us. And giving us the stink eye every time we sat on any couch.If you are opening a furniture store then you have to expect that people are going to test it out! No other store we have ever visited has treated us like this. Honestly very dissappointed and will never be visiting again. We will take our buisness elsewhere.

Walked through the store with my wife, we are both asian. Girls at the front desk were nice and said hi as we walked in. Chubby darker/ tan skin guy with glasses / longer curly hair walked around in the back offering "white" customers help and being nice to them. When he saw us, didn't offer to help and said "hi" really quick and zoomed past us. We later asked the girl at the front to see some fabric samples and guess who she called over. Yep, it was chubby dark hair glasses man. He didn't acknowledge or ask what we were looking for, instead walked us over to a case of fabrics and told me to look through it all. I tested him later to see if he was even capable of doing his job, asked him to help me with finding a color + fabric material, he instead just told me to look through all the samples myself again.
