Genuinely the worst place I’ve ever tried to pick up my prescriptions. I would like to preface this by saying that I understand that pharmacies are understaffed, and that all issues related to that are not the fault of in-store staff. Those issues will be marked with a *.*1) It takes forever for them to pick up the phone. Minimum thirty minutesThis would not be a big deal HOWEVER2) They do not have a hold line or callback option. You have to continuously go through the menu telling the automatic phone line where to send you, or else it will hangup. That means for over an HOUR you will be sitting there pressing buttons on your phone unable to do anything productive.3) The sheet the pharmacy gives you to connect your prescriptions to your app account does not work. It tells you to contact the pharmacy for help.*4) The pharmacists informed me they do not know how the app works. This is probably because they are understaffed and are not able to learn small details for customer care. I definitely agree that in the case of safety, medication information is much more important.5) When I called to refill my prescriptions, they told me that they did not have me in their system, despite me having filled my medications there previously (I transferred in preparation for the National Walgreens Strike this November, since we didn’t know it was only going to last three days at the time). They would not take the time for me to speak to check they were spelling my name correctly in their system search and hung up on me.6) When other pharmacies (Walgreens, Safeway, etc) try to call them to transfer your prescriptions over, they either don’t pick up or they don’t fully transfer your prescription.Due to all of these issues, I have now run out of one of my most important prescriptions and Walgreens is having to directly contact my doctor and request a new prescription for that medication, and we are now going to have to fight with insurance to cover it because this Rite Aid doesn’t know how to transfer a prescription properly.I will not be coming here again.

The pharmacist at this rite aid location. She has short hair, Filipino, and wears glasses. She seems to have an attitude problem. I witnessed her calling a customer stupid after hanging up on them, and then when I needed my medications she saw me standing there and acknowledged me with “I’m busy” you have to wait. I’m ok with waiting but the attitude isn’t necessary, especially because I didn’t say anything I patiently stood there. Rite aid you need to train your folks how give good customer service.

I like it sometimes there is long line but most times it is, in and out! They have great selection of toiletries supplies, snack, ATM, water, beer etc... I prefer them compared to nearby gas stations and convince stores. Few years ago I had horrible experience with the pharmacy staff because of that I don't use the pharmacy so this review is for the store part only. But who knows they may have gotten a better pharmacist and pharmacy staff. Also the store is clean which is important too me! Oh be careful in the parking lot people speeding and drive careless is best to park directly next to the store.

The store/pharmacy I'm reviewing is store #:5217 located at 9000 Rainier Ave S Seattle, WA 98118. This pharmacy is the most horrible place I've ever seen. The pharmacy especially! Maybe it's something against me personally, or I don't know why but every time my doctor sends a prescription order for me, I am not able to pick up my prescription on the set date. I'm given the run around when they do decide to answer the phone. I know they go to lunch from 1:30-2:00 but I call before and after and I'm always placed on hold hearing annoying music for at least 30-45 minutes before they pick up the phone. Even the doctor and my insurance have tried calling the pharmacy and are not able to speak to anyone. The store also is horrible customer service when it comes to using the rewards digital coupons in the app. I don't know what their problem is but I never have a problem using the CVS pharmacy app to utilize my rewards and coupons. I need to change my prescriptions to CVS it's just there's not a location close by so I'm currently getting my prescriptions through this horrible Rite Aid pharmacy! I'm just going to have to change my pharmacy even if I have to travel a few extra miles because this Rite Aid is not working for me. It's causing me a great deal of unnecessary stress and anxiety adding on to my current condition. They really need to do better or I don't know. I've been to other Rite Aid's to shop in other states I lived and never had problems it's just this particular store in WA . 9000 Rainier Ave S Seattle, WA 98118. I feel like they are prejudice against Caucasian and Latino people. Shame .

A very good pharmacy and specialty store in the Rainer valley. Lots of options on anything from deodorant to cosmetics under one roof. Rite aid also is a supplier of booze and cigarettes to the customer. Has full isles of toiletries, adult diapers and much much more. Staff might want to put their phone down while checking out but otherwise very helpful.

Asked to fill overdue prescriptions, and they neglected two of the meds. Came back to refill and when I asked about the second med that needed to refilled the pharmacist got angry.because she said she was working on the order. My inquiry was about the second medication which was also overdue but also hadn’t been filled.The problem was they rite aid person got angry without listening to my question about the second medication that they had previously neglected to fill.I spoke clearly about the second medication, but the pharmacist seems to have a hearing problem.It may or not have been the pharmacist, but she wore a gown with pharmacist on it.

Terrible customer service! Placed a refill through the automated phone line. (It took them 1 week to respond) Seems like nobody checks it. I wait at the drive thru to pick up my meds for 30mins. All I get is a lady that walks by the window and stares at me. So I decide to go in and see what's going on. 1 person is being helped while I see 4 people in the back. No help no hello. Nothing! I leave without my meds because I don't have time for this. I do not recommend this rite aid!!! The service USED to be good but seems like they don't care anymore.

I'm so utterly disappointed with this pharmacy. To the point that I feel insulted. This is the second time in 3 months that I have been here and I've just had the exact same experience. So needless to say, I'm never coming back. They're so completely inefficient and inconsiderate of people's time and health. And I find it incredibly rude and unprofessional that the staff allow those of their own culture to walk up to the windows, ahead of those waiting in line and give their attention and complete their transactions. While everyone else waits. Ultimately, to be told your prescription is not ready. And don't bother, Rite Aid, with your empty meaningless BS response. Just do something. Fix it.

WORST pharmacy ever. I wish I could leave 0 stars. They are seriously borderline a danger to the community with how careless and disorganized they are. You always have to call ahead to make sure a prescription is ready (even days after the prescription being sent in), wait on hold forever, talk to a SUPER RUDE staff member, and even then it still won't be ready when you get there!! They'll have you sit in the car pick up line for 30+ minutes just to find out it's not ready and you were lied to on the phone. It's happened many times. Absolutely insane. What about people who don't have a car or are disabled? Or don't have the ability to come in 3 times per prescription because they have kids, multiple jobs, etc? This horrific service leads to people not being able to get their meds which is obviously DANGEROUS. I'm switching pharmacies. Do not go here period.

The pharmacy here at this location is absolutely horrible. They lie and say they have no idea what medication your talking about then you ask to talk to another person and they say it will be ready in a hour. On top of that they acted like it's a big deal to ask for someone else to help you because that person has NO IDEA WHAT THEIR DOING! They are RUDE and disrespectful and some of the employees give you dirty looks. Me and my family have been loyal customers for years and now it's a dread going there!
