[cross-posting from the Rite Aid Pharmacy page]
Do not send a prescription here if you want to receive your medicine. First, they will not pick up the phone if/when you call. So, I went in today to pick up a prescription that was called in last week and learned that “they were working on it,” and that I should wait while they finished it. I waited for a total of 2 hours and had to remind them several times that I was still there. In my hours there, I saw patient after patient wait in line to pick up a prescription, only to be turned away because the pharmacy was “working on it.”
I have a pelvic fracture and was in awful pain by the time I picked up my medication. I finally double-checked it tonight, and found out that I had only received half of the prescribed dose of one of my medications. I have been on hold to speak with the pharmacy for 10 minutes and counting while writing this review. (Again, they do not answer the phone.) So I will have to go back tomorrow and try to pick up the rest of the prescription.
I suggest this Rite Aid update or remove the “60 minute parking,” signs so customers won’t worry about needing to move their cars while waiting for a prescription.

Beyond disappointed with this pharmacy. My account was transferred here when Pharmaca had to close (thanks junction parking fees). The techs seem to change weekly and God forbid I have a question about my medication! I have worked a block from this place for more than a decade and Rite Aid used to be terrific. Now it's shelves are barren and the prices are out of control. The corporate takeover is obvious

What happened ? It’s impossible to get a prescription filled. No one answers the phone - pharmacy or otherwise. I have tried to call 4 times today day to get a medicine for a procedure I am having and am not sure what to do at this point besides show up, ask in person (knowing it won’t be ready) and have to come back another day to actually hopefully get it? This is the third time recently I’ve had this result.
The store is also empty of common products. Rite Aid - get it together or close already. Do better for the community and for your employees. I’m guessing if the store is this bad to customers it must be worse to the people working here.

I've been frustrated with the pharmacy several times in the recent past, mostly because of the very long wait to pick up meds. Today was a different story, however. I arrived mid-morning to drop off a new prescription. No one was in line at either window. I stood at the drop off window for at least five minutes, but none of the four employees inside the pharmacy noticed me. I finally walked over to the pickup window. The gentleman who walked up to the window (the pharmacist?) told me I had to go to the drop off window. I explained the situation, but was ignored while he instructed someone else to go to the pick up window. The guy who ultimately took the prescription seemed a little rattled by the experience, and offered up a "we only have one pharmacist, so it will take a while" excuse. I regret not having retrieved my prescription and not leaving to go to another pharmacy. I will likely transfer all prescriptions from this location to avoid future frustrations such as these.

The pharmacy is closed 1:30 - 2 pm every day for lunch. The hours don't reflect this.

This used to be a very reliable pharmacy located in a drug store that was well stocked with everyday needs. In the past few months I have had two prescriptions inaccurately filled and it is very difficult to get a hold of the pharmacists. I had to call four times and wait a total of 20 minutes to speak with someone this morning.
The rest of the store has difficulty keeping shelves stocked, frequently resulting in the need to go to another store to get toiletries, non-prescription medications, or other household goods.
It is a shame to see this happen to our local Rite Aid.

TOM, I ELECT AS STORE MANAGER/!!!
HE KNOWS everything about this store, courteous, attentive and always Professional!!! Unlike the temps and floaters; Today the girl did not know what an envelope? was, how is she at the counter then?!!+
SECURITY?!!! WHY IS THERE NO SECURITY FOR THE SAFETY OF THE EMPLOYEES AND CUSTOMERS?! This store is robbed several times a week and sometimes with violence, why does the owner of this location care?!

While the store and pharmacy staff are great, the Rite Aid corporate phone system is atrocious. Regardless of which of the multiple phone menus you use, any of the options to speak with the pharmacist either return you to the previous menu or respond that the pharmacy is currently closed-which it currently isn't. I feel bad for the staff who work hard for a company that couldn't give two licks for decent customer service. Best to visit in person, inconvenient enough for me to move my prescriptions to CVS or Walgreens.

used to such a reliable pharmacy, but the past few years it’s gone downhill. the quoted time for a prescription to be refilled is never accurate, and it’s become common practice for me to have to call (if they actually pick up the phone) and ask when my refills will be ready, because that’s the only way they’ll get filled somewhat on time. i had to do that just this morning on a refill i sent in 3 days ago that still isn’t ready. i understand there is a pharmacist shortage, but it more so seems like they’ve become complacent. the staff themselves are great, but that’s not what i go to rite aid for.

This pharmacy has some issues with customer service, but I stand by my previous review that Allie is always awesome. If she can help you, she will.

I've had pretty bad experiences here over the past three years, but I feel like this month, they've drastically improved. I'm not sure if they hired more people to curb being understaffed or what, but they are more efficient, kinder, and very professional. I hope that this positive change is sustained! Thanks, pharmacists!

Cashier doesn't know how to do their job properly, super rude from the get go when I called preceding my doordash order and super rude and in conclusion with zero empathy. I was polite the entire call. Entitled much? Made me waste 50% off an order from doordash. Boo. Occured at 6:30 pm jan 24th

Helpful. Sometimes you should call ahead so your prescription is correct and ready. Friendly staff. Good selection of snacks and general pharmacy supplies.
