I've unfortunately had to come here twice within the last month. Every time there is only one person helping the customers. May be 4 or 5 people waiting in line which can take 15 to 30 minutes just to talk to someone. Unacceptable! This is the downside to this establishment.

The customers service was remarkable, especially compared to other tire stores (especially Costco, where I had a bad experience). It was easy to book an appointment, and I was surprised how quick the installation occurred (30 mins compared to the 2 hours at Costco). As I saw there waiting, I saw how the representatives were all attentive and seemed to genuinely care about each customers' concern, and were patient and yet efficient despite how busy it was. The tires themselves were a great deal, lowest price I could find (same as Costco but without the cost of membership). As you can see by now, would definitely recommend you come here as opposed to Costo.

Avoid this place unless you have time to waste. I made an appointment over a month in advance and when I got there 12 people were in line ahead of me. Not sure if any of them had appointments. Took over an hour just to check in. When I went back to pick it up, same thing. The 2 guys at the desk were very nice and professional and I'm not sure they are to blame, but the manager or owner of this place needs to have a line for SCHEDULED APPOINTMENTS and PICKING UP DONE VEHICLES. Another thing I couldn't believe is the service advisors actually answered phone calls when they had an over hour wait line up in front of them! Some of these calls took several minutes while everyone waiting stared laser beams in disbelief. The most important person to a customer service agent is the person standing in front of them. Big fail for whoever is responsible for training these guys.

Have been a customer of discount tires for 15+ years and of this branch for about 6 years. But hearing 'let us take care of you' for 40 minutes with no one taking care of you pushed me to take my 2000$ spend to Costco.

Perfect install of oversized tires on my truck. It took about 2 hours as they were very busy. For two hours I watched the staff interact with other customers and couldn't have been more impressed. The staff communicated any issues immediately and explained technical issues in a very simple way. I'd highly recommend this location.

So I drive in to this branch of Discount tire in Northgate ar 545pm on a snowy Tuesday as my tire pressure gauge kept lighting up and I was worried I would get a flat in the snow. I asked politely if they could check my tire pressure so I could make sure my tires were ok to drive home. The attendants who I asked and without even considering anything says to come back the next day as they were closing jn 10 minutes! I said I would have been there earlier but got stuck in a 2 hour jam on the free way. He even had the nerve to tell me why didn't I stop in another branch ? I mean talk about being inconsiderate... this attendant obviously just wanted to get rid of me. I'm taking my business to lea Schwab! Do not buy tires here!!

I took my son's car in to get a tire repaired which had a screw in it. I mistakenly told them the wrong tire. They found a small leak which they fixed but didn't notice the screw in the other tire. I had to bring the car back once I realized my mistake. Although they were very busy, they were extremely accommodating and took the car back in and fixed the tire and were very nice about my mistake. They will have my continued business.

Extremely efficient and professional. Despite the busy fall/winter season, I was able to have all my concerns addressed. Thanks team!

Earlier in the week, I swung by--as I had done when I've bought tires from them before--but I couldn't find a place to park. After driving around for about 10 minutes, I drove back home, looked them up online, and noticed that I could order the tires I wanted online, and schedule an appointment at the same time. Pretty straightforward process, *if* you know what tires you want (I did). Unfortunately, the appointment was nearly two weeks out, and I really wanted the tires sooner than that. So I went by yesterday evening to chat with them about options, but had the same problem with parking and gave up. I woke up early this morning, found a spot on the street (their parking lot was already full), and went inside to find over a dozen people in line. It took about 30 minutes to get through the line. However, once I got to the counter, I told Leon--who had helped me in the past, and was a nice as ever--that I was hoping to get my tires sooner than two weeks out. He did a quick check, saw that the tires were arriving that afternoon, and asked if I could leave the car for the day. No problem with that at all. By the end of the day, I had my new tires, and I was a very happy customer. I think Discount Tires has remarkably good product, good prices, and good customer service. Their prices are quite competitive; same as Costco, where my mom was getting the same tires for her car. But, Discount threw in wiper blades, so ultimately, Discount was cheaper than Costco. (And my mom won't be getting her tires for at least 3 weeks!) I really only have two complaints: First, parking is dismal. That prompted me to come by multiple times. Fortunately, I live close, so it was possible. If I lived further away, I probably would have given up and went somewhere else. I found out *after* I got my tires that I could park in a neighboring lot. Would have been nice if I knew that *before* all my trips back and forth. Second, lines in the store and wait times are quite long. I don't think there's much they can do about the second: good product with low prices is going to increase demand. I think lines come with the territory. You just need to be patient. The first complaint, however, I think is addressable, and I knocked a star for that reason. (Otherwise, this would have been a 5 star review, instead of a 4.5.)

Ok where do I start. I used their online tool to book a tire replacement two week out so I would have a quick and easy appointment. 5 days before the appointment they cancelled it. No reason given. I called the store and stayed one hold for more than an hour the next morning. They don't answer phones. I know that because why it was ringing I eventually just drove there and watched as they ignored the phones to slowly slog through a line of 20 people. I left, I didn't have another hour to sit in line. I called the regional office to ask if they could look at my order issue. They could not. I called some customer service number, they said they'd work on the order with a manager for me. That never happened. 3 more 45 minute calls later I finally got someone to pick up. They said I could be a Friday walk in. Yay!! Friday at 10am I came in, spent an hour in line, gave them my car and they said I could wait. They failed to mention my car wouldn't even start service till 5 pm. I noticed it on a mobile text message and so I took my car and drove home to finish work and came back at 4:30 with my wife for a hopefully quick turn around. We sat there till 6:15. My car was supposed to be in the shop an hour before that and done at latest 6. I asked for an ECD, told me I had another 45 to hour wait. My wife had to Lyft home because we were 15 minutes late to our commitments. Look, this is a busy shop, they are understaffed, burnt out, don't give a crap. Your 30 minute tire replacement is going to take 6-10 hours if your life away as well as the stress and the disruption. Do yourself a favor and don't even think I was the exception. I was in the waiting room with 7 people 45 minutes after the place "closed". You can do better literally anywhere. Why would you do this to yourself? I never will again.

My tire light came on and I headed to Northgate Discount Tire. This was 8AM on Monday morning 11/7. The parking lot there is really small compared to the business they do. After driving around trying to find parking with no luck I decided to head to the Shoreline shop. I was able to park easily and as a walk in had to wait 1 1/2 hours which was ok with me. Booking online appointments were several days out hence the walk in. The staff at both places are professional and courteous. They checked out my tires and sensor and said were all ok. No charge.

Had 4 rear dually tires installed on motor home. They matched the Costco price and did an excellent job. Took a little longer (half hour) than they said it would but they were friendly, courteous and customer oriented. Overall positive experience and I wouldn't hesitate to return in the future.

Somehow got a big nail in my tire. I called and went to a competitor and unfortunately not even 16 mins before I got there during their opening there were already 6 people in line and 5 people after me. They told me patching the tire would take more than a day. I decided to give Discount Tire a call and they said to come over and see what they can do. I was greeted by Leon who came out to my car and confirmed they could patch it up. He entered my info and then had me wait in the waiting room as he said it could be an hr before they will have it ready for me. They have a nest tracker that lets you know when you car is in the bay and being serviced. 25 mins goes by and Mitchell calls my name to let me know my car is ready and it was all patched up. The charge: FREE. I have bought from these guys a long time ago but I know next time I need to get new tires I will be stopping by and supporting this location.

Great service and honest people. A screwdriver bit got stuck into a tire so I dropped by to get it checked out. They checked the tire and determined the bit didn't make it through the tread and the tire was fine. They pulled it out, checked pressure and the rest of the tires, and i was good to go. I left within 30 min and there was no charge.
