I never give bad reviews and my experience calls for it. This was an absolute disaster experience for me. I went there to get a passport size photo taken for my EAD application. The clarity was entirely bad and got rejected in my application. He was confident that the photo will work on any application, but it was worst even the background was not proper. I returned the photos. He promised me he would get me the refund for this. I have waited 2 weeks and after two weeks of calling him he says he cannot refund my money. Please do not go here and waste your money like I did. He charged me $20 for 2 photos which I returned. This doesn’t deserve 1 star too.

I went to get my photo clicked for USCIS application. He was very confident that the photo will work anywhere. My application rejected the photo. I asked for a refund. After delaying it for 2 weeks he said he cannot give me any refund. Don’t waste your money here

I used to really like and admire this business and they had done incredibly good work for me in the past. However, this last time I put in an order on Tuesday of the week for a poster print for an international conference on the following weekend. The manager of the shop told me it would be done by Thursday. Thursday it wasn't done. Friday it still wasn't done, but I was assured it would be done by Saturday morning. Saturday morning no one was there... finally the manager showed up at noon on Saturday, and acted completely shocked when I mentioned that I needed it before my flight that afternoon. I went in to pick it up and the fellow pictured below said he'd have it ready in a few minutes. After 10 minutes, he came running out, handed me a partially rolled up poster and said, I know you've got a plane to catch (after repeated assurances of "I got you man"). They had always done good work for me in the past so I took it and ran to the airport, barely making the plane because of this delay. When I got to the conference, and put up the poster, the top 1/3 was completely missing, so I took down the poster I had flown across the globe to present. When I went into the shop to get a refund, the same guy told me to apologize to him for embarrassing him. I told him he should apologize, and he said I'm sorry you are too dumb to check the proof. Apparently. Don't be dumb, go somewhere else, this shop is completely undependable. On top of that, the manager acted offended and took a threatening posture as if he was going to come and fight me. Seriously, stay away from this shop. To the owner's credit, when I talked to him on the phone, he was very nice and seemed shocked at the behavior of his employee.

Been coming here for years for both US and Canadian passport photos from me and family. They know the drill and get it done to specs for each country. Super convenient to be next to the US passport submission office

**Update**: responding to the owner reply, for the event in my review, I had called on Wednesday, and the person who replied said that it was Rainer Copy and Print. Thus, the review is still applicable.I wanted to check this place out for Canadian Passport photos, as I've heard from coworkers that this place did them (though, I will say that those coworkers took such photos several years ago). I was a little wary, due to recent reviews, but I wanted to give this place a shot. I called to check up and see if they could do Canadian Passport photos, and to possibly schedule something for that. Once I mentioned the Canadian Passport Photos, though, the person immediately hung up on me, without even saying anything further. This was immensely disrespectful; I can understand if maybe that's not a service that's offered anymore, but you can still say something about it, instead of just hanging up without any explanation (not even a "goodbye" was given). Maybe the person was having a very bad day, but I don't think that really excuses this behavior; we all have bad days (I suddenly needed to apply for a new passport, so I was not feeling the best, either), but it doesn't mean you get to take it out on others. For some perspective on me, even if the service isn't offered, I feel like a simple, "no, we don't offer that", would have gotten the point across quickly to me, and I'd maybe be open to checking this place again for other services for the future. Now, I don't think I even want to try their other services, given my really poor impression of how they'll cooperate with me (I don't want to deal with that kind of behavior). Once more, if you've been having a hard time recently (and maybe that's the case, given the owner responses to other recent reviews), I totally sympathize with you; I have many friends and family running small businesses who face rough times and struggles to find the success they want. But your best shot at that success is giving some respect and earning the trust of your customers. Please understand this, and work towards it, and I think you'll see better reception and results from that.

Great service, turnaround and quality! And the pricing, compared to other local banner shops I contacted locally, was great!Rainier Copy and Print stands out. You can reach a smart person very simply by phone. If you have questions, in this time where there are large, impersonal web sources with endless phone trees or chatbots, it's a pleasure to talk with the person who is working on your project. The color quality is excellent, and your job can be customized as you request.I plan to be a returning customer the next opportunity requiring their services arises, and recommend them to others.

Rang the bell twice, stood for about 5 minutes before realizing no one was there to help. Going down the street!

Updated review: This place used to be great. When Ann worked here, I had full confidence. But this week I had a big work order that was supposed to be printed today with a proof available this past Monday. It's Friday and... nothing. Ann no longer works here. I won't be using them anymore.Original review:These people are the best! I have had them print my wedding invitations, Christmas cards, and work conference booth posters. They are always speedy and kind. The results are always five stars. Thanks Rainier!!

Dee was incredibly helpful and great to work with! I called in about getting programs printed for my sister's wedding, he got me a quote in less than an hour, I came in to evaluate paper types and he helped me resize and adjust the file then printed and wrapped them same day. I couldn't ask for a better experience. I will say I was not expecting them done same day and that probably wouldn't happen if they were working on other projects but still even if it takes a few days, they are overall very easy to work with, friendly and a communicative.

Rainier copy is an amazing shop! They helped make a collage of old photos for a friend who was under the weather. They even had the great idea to laminate it. I can’t recommend Rainier Copy enough.

After recently moving to the area, I visited this shop to get some posters printed. The shop was quaint, with various self service counters lining the wall (mostly for paper copies or light printing jobs). I walked up to the counter and asked the clerk if he provided art printing. Upon asking the question, his attitude became impatient and dismissive "Bartell's will do it for cheaper" he said. Thinking that the conversation was over, he attempted to dismiss me. I did not let him, and had to convince him that 1. I was NOT a student and would not tolerate that kind of disrespect (the fact that students, who are the main demographic for the neighborhood, get treated so poorly baffles me) and 2. I'd rather support a local business, his business, than the life-sucking profiteer that is Wallgreens and their shell companies. After realizing that I was a tax-paying working adult, he changed his tune. Just goes to show that profit is always the motive, not service.I went to pick up the prints today, and my framer let me know that they were poorly handled and looked to have numerous smudges and fingerprints out-of-the-box. I wanted to do the right thing and support a local business... but next time I will be taking my artwork and money into more capable hands.

I seldom post negative reviews - but this particular establishment calls for it. Their callousness in customer service is unusual for the Seattle area - my experience was as follows.I called if they do passport photos for newborns. They said yes. I parked my car outside and walked in to confirm if they do passport photos for newborns ( before picking my newborn son out of his car seat into their rundown establishment ). They said yes. And then finally I woke him up, got him in - and they said do you have a photo on your phone instead we can try to use that? I said I have many but the US state dept. requires not digitally altering photos. They said don't worry about it - let us take a look at your phone. So I complied ( I really shouldn't have but I did ). Then the gentleman found a photo that fit the bill - well really fit his bill of what could work with some alteration - I looked at it - my son had his tongue out. A specific example in the US state departments website of what not to do. I called that out citing regulation - the gentleman said oh ok - no worries let me find another photo. All this time refusing to actually photograph my son who was right there. So I left. If I had more energy I would have stayed to make a forceful point about how I was mislead but having a newborn I have learnt to pick which battles to fight and how best to spend my time. Instead I jumped on here and sunk 2 minutes of time to let others know what they can expect here.
