Rude female cashier. She turned away for awhile; I picked up my item she scanned and my basket and worked for free at self checkout. Then she turned around. It was funny

Overpriced on everything. You are also essentially forced to go through self checkout since there's only one or two registers with people forced into a single line down an aisle. Awful layout. Also there are always hobo beggars outside among the quickly deteriorating trash riddled nearby streets of Wallingford. Avoid this store and area unless you have no other choice.

No washroom unless you buy goods. Buy goods and denied washroom access past 8PM. Do not go here if you have to piss.

Went twice to buy orca cards and both times the manager said he didn't have anyone to help me, while he was standing right there by them.
The level of customer service seems pretty low in general: Another customer was upset at a cashier's service and the manager went over and told him to leave rather than trying to deescalate, which led to the customer going ballistic and causing a scene.

Well-run store with friendly staff. The bulk of the 1-star reviews would be non-existent if the staff didn't have to constantly deal with drug-addicts and shoplifters that our city lets roam free.

Carts are rarely available to shoppers. Batteries are only available if you stand in a checkout line, then request that the associate stop everything to get them for you. And the deli counter, advertised to be open until 9pm, “shuts down the slicers for the night” before 3pm

Handicapped wife yelled at by checker for entering the entrance adjacent to handicapped parking. Management team was unapologetic.

Went in to buy lunch and girlfriend had to use the restroom, upon her asking for a bathroom code an employee refused to give her the code unless she had a receipt but what I'm failing to understand is how you need a receipt to go to the bathroom and it claims no merchandise is aloud in the bathroom. So we jump through their hoops, to find out they don't have a bathroom code and while my girlfriend finally got to use the bathroom she saw two employees go in and not even wash their hands...
