No cashiers available at 7 on a Friday evening, this should not be a thing anywhere, ever. Took me ten minute just to pay for my groceries. If you are a manager at this store, you are a complete failure.

It's a small grocery store and is more likely to be out of stock on ordinary items. One time I was there shopping and they were out of potatoes. Once they were out of the brand name nonstick cooking spray. They are however closer to us than our regular store so we shop there when we need something for cooking dinner that night or when we just need a couple things.

Rarely more than 1 cashier open making lines absurd. More than 20 people per line is typical. Plan ahead and expect to spend more time in line than shopping.

Item selections, employees, everything is great here. All except for there are no cashiers after 5:00 pm. They are completely relying on self check out. If you have multiple produce items or a cart full of items I suggest you go elsewhere if you value your time. Safeway is not that much further north. And there’s a really nice qfc in Edmonds.

They have what you need and are fairly quick checking you out

This QFC needs to be put out of its misery. The store manager has to feel ashamed and embarrassed.

Disclaimer: The employees are wonderful, hardworking, and doing their absolute best. This negative review has nothing to do with the employees or store-level management. This message is for QFC/Kroger Corporate.
You should be embarrassed (Kroger a.k.a. QFC) that your store has so many checkout aisles and nobody working them. I just waited in line to pay for a few overpriced items for maybe 5-10 minutes for no good reason. There was a line all the way through the aisle for only 4 self-checkout kiosks. Most of the people there had carts full of items too.
Staff more people Kroger, you can afford it I promise. You don't need an extra bonus for your rich constituents. If you want to drive your business to the ground this is how you do it: Overworking your employees who actually know what they're doing and then they quit, staffing less people so less people shop here (foreshadowing), and driving up the cost of food so much that now you're responsible for food waste when it could have been purchased and used. Are you a grocery store, or a price gouging money machine? Let me answer it for you, it's not the former.

Consistently understaffed to the point of uselessness. The people there are always incredibly polite and helpful, but there's never enough.

Grateful to have this store in my neighborhood. Nice staff. Good produce section. Good deli meat section. Excellent artisan cheese section. Is it the cheapest? No. Is it perfect? No. Could use more cashiers now and then and the meat and fish section seems to have been paired down a few years ago but, hey, management has got to make the place economically viable. Overall, a more enjoyable shopping experience than comparable alternatives nearby.

Cashier was having a bit of attitude with everyone she was helping and the bagging clerk pretty much just rolled my peanut butter jar at me instead of asking if I wanted a bag or just politely handing it to me. Feels your team needs a bit of one on one with someone that knows how to provide customer service.

Understaffed and poorly maintained. Every visit includes poorly stocked shelves, depts with skeleton crews, and a consistently messy store. The employees are polite, but dismissive. Understandable given their position. The only time I see the store in working order is before corporate walks and the holidays, and even then it would be stretching to describe the experience as pleasant. If this location didn't have a gas station attached I would suspect it would be on the chopping block.
