All of the staff are really nice. They try to keep up with the maintenance on all of the equipment. There's not a lot of muscle head clowns walking around looking stupid which is great.

I don't know if it's just Seattle being Lgbtq friendly, but that does not constitute 2 fat dude employees to stalk customers.
Bunch of stalking weirdos in here. Beware of old freaks, too!

Their parking lot is a pain. Not to mention the number of broken equipment and machines....today, August 6th nothing has changed

Planet Fitness is really good and pretty clean. They need to put some handicap bars in the handicap changing stall.

Less crowded than the other budget gyms in North Seattle. But you have to lift quietly and appreciate fragile floors

It is a quiet place, there are always unoccupied machines and you can train for as long as you had planned, and it is also in a good location

I switched to a classic membership few months back but continued to be charged for a Black Card membership
Be careful what you sign up for and more importantly - what you are charged for.
I will cancel my membership all together, no hope to get a refund. Cutting my losses

It is a really nice gym. The water massage beds are the best!!!!!

Seemingly hardly ever turns on AC. Leaves two front doors open hoping that it will be enough ventilation for 30 adults all working out at the same time producing body heat. If the franchise or franchisee of this particular establishment is raising gym membership dues, turn on the dang AC.

Unfortunately the gym of late has become a cellphone Internet station. I have seen people sitting for half hour using their cellphone tying up equipment. I’ve brought this up to staff but they’ve shown no concern. Frustrating! Just want to do my workout and go home.

The employees are lovely.
I use this location primarily for it's tanning beds and red light therapy.
I am disabled with EDS and suffer from psoriasis flair ups quite often. So the Planet Fitness Red Light Therapy is a god sent to have access to when my psoriasis has flair ups. With these flair ups, one of the only things that makes life Bearable, is "Red Light Therapy " treatment. It is one of the few treatments available for patient relief to the psoriasis symptoms.
This being the case, my review will mostly focus on the facilities ability to provide these services.
First issue,
FACULTY ACCESSIBILITY:
being disabled, I have noticed the facilities lack of wheelchair accessible entrances.
I have to be in a wheelchair or in crutches on and off in the year and I fear the accessibility level provided here is incredibly inadequate and lacking.
Even being one of their "Black Card" members, I struggle to yank open the doors to the members lounge to even get to the light beds. Let alone get threw the front door with the same problem.
Which leads me to another issue;
ACCESSIBILITY TO RED LIGHT:
The red light is ONLY offered in stand up beds..... so while in my wheelchair or in crutches, I'm unable to use the red light.
I am aware that other locations provide more accessible options.
(example the Lake Stevens Washington location has a chair and bed available)
Now, the final issue;
SANITATION/ LIGHT BED UPKEEP;
neither the beds nor the stand up machines appear like their being cleaned between customers.
I consistently find hair or other body Rememances on the machines while I approach use.
I obviously sanitize before and after my uses. But that shouldn't be a requirement considering that this is supposed to be a "luxury" provided option.
In closing,
I understand the affordability is amazing and provides access to these kinds of treatments and facilities. That being said, I don't believe "affordability " should be used as an excuse to expense "accessibility ". We, the disabled, deserve dignity in being acknowledged threw action. Not used as just an advertisement tool, like in most cases. I believe that it is possible for Planet Fitness to live threw their values more truly by providing these utilities in a more accessible way. As shown in other locations. I'm not sure why the Aurora location, is so exclusionary. ?
Please do better ?.
Otherwise, I will say again, the employees are great. And the security team is much appreciated ? .
Thank you

Positives, clean and up kept equipment with ample parking.
Negatives: some lethargic staff and some clueless.
Hard to get to some equipment because they have become cellphone Internet station where I swear I have seen people sitting for Half hour using their cellphone tying up equipment. Bring this up to staff results in slackjaw looks.
Frustrating! Just want to do . Just want to do my workout and go home.

The staff at this establishment are incredibly rude and incompetent. They seem to have no regard for their guests. I find it surprising that they can stay in business with such poor attitudes. I had to go in person to request a refund, as that was the only way to do so. I had to drive all the way to North Seattle to make the request. When I got there, all they did was mess around with the computer, saying that the refund was in order. I suggested and recommended getting a receipt or some kind of proof that the refund was being processed, but I have received no response or refund so far. It's been frustrating trying to receive any kind of update on my refund and cancellation. I accidentally prematurely signed up for the summer kids program too early and they charged my card on file when kids are supposed to workout for FREE during the summer months. They didn't honor their own advertised promotion.
