I first heard about this boutique a year ago because they had in stock a pair of StillHere jeans that were sold out online everywhere and randomly came across this store. I called in and made a purchase online (over the phone) and they had it shipped to me since I am from another state. The sales person was so kind over the phone and helped me figure out what size to get and it made it to my house extremely quickly.
Recently, I was in Seattle visiting and remembered this store so I decided to stop in, and was blown away by how great this little shop is. They had a huge selection of brands that I normally shop and love. The sales people were all so amazing asking me if I needed help with sizing and styling. I wasn’t planning on buying anything since my luggage was full but I ended up buying things anyway because of how great everyone was. I will definitely continue to buy and shop from here, I wish it was in my state!

seems like a nice store for ladies, but there is no boyfriend waiting/play area for the fellas. add a couch for me and the boys to wait for our gal pals and i change it to 4 stars

I'm really bummed to write this review because I love the merchandise at P&R--it's one of the few local places outside of the major retailers where I could find certain designers. While I've had some great customer service in the years I've been shopping here, I've noticed a huge shift in the quality of customer service. I've tried to give the business the benefit of the doubt, but the poor customer service has become consistent over the past 1-2 years.
Today, I went in to spend money--I had an item in mind I wanted to buy. I was not greeted by the ~4 people on the floor despite an almost empty store. Nobody asked if I needed help--I had to interrupt their conversation to ask for a fitting room. I was in the fitting room for probably 10 minutes without the typical courtesy check about sizing and fit. I wanted to try on another item, so I left the dressing room to grab it myself once I realized the staff was not going to interrupt their animated conversation to check on me. As I went to grab another item, the person who started my fitting room just stood behind me silently and *still* didn't follow up with me about if I needed any further help. At this point, I just chose to leave the store entirely without buying what I wanted because it was the most awkward shopping experience I've ever had.
I'm really eager to support local businesses like P&R, and I know from their recent Instagram postings that sales were slower earlier this year. I wonder why the response to this hasn't been to ensure basic friendliness among staff at the very least? I'm super bummed to stop shopping there, but I am not going to bend over backwards to spend money when I feel like I'm burdening the staff by doing so.

I’ve spent well over $1k at Pipe and Row to-date. This store has great clothes and it’s obvious the owner has amazing taste. That being said, similar to what another reviewer said, it’s *really* hard to get any amount of customer service if you aren’t their ideal customer (skinny and white). During a recent visit with a friend (also not white) an employee focused exclusively on helping a white woman in a fitting room next to ours and didn’t once check on us (the only other customers in fitting rooms). I popped my head out ten minutes into trying on clothes to politely ask for another size and the employee scanned me up and down and said she’d try to find someone else to help. The only person who did come help was another brown woman. Disappointing experience given how much money I’ve spent at this store but unfortunately seems to be standard practice for Pipe and Row. There are some friendly employees but the unkind ones clearly have some sort of unconscious/conscious bias to work on.

Open later (7pm) than most other businesses in the area (6pm). Contemporary fashion. Some expensive pieces, some cute gifts. Prices feel a bit high for the pieces I looked at, but it does seem that they have a good selection of seasonal/rotating stock, so may be worth a return
The store is pretty packed, wheelchairs may have a tough time. It's not a store for kids. Parking may be tough (busy city)

One of my most favorite stores to shop at in Seattle. The folks who work here are SO nice, helpful and supportive. Every time I come in I see something exciting and new and it often feels like a personal shopping experience—the employees help find stuff in my size and bring it to the room. They often know the designers of the clothing they sell and can tell me where it's designed, where it's made, and what other pieces go well with it.
While not inexpensive, the pieces I've invested in from Pipe and Row continue to be closet favorites.
If you're in Fremont and love shopping, this is a must-visit!

The staff at this local, woman-owned and led store are wonderful. They make a point to let folks know they carry sizes beyond standard, available in-store or online. This is a staple in both Fremont and the greater City.

Absolutely love this place. The selection of clothes, jewelry and home goods are unlike anywhere else in Seattle. I’m perplexed by any negative review as I’ve only had great interactions with staff and they’ve gone above and beyond to be helpful. I’m not the most stylish so I’ve asked for help and always find true gems. I have some staple pieces that I bought there 5+ years ago that I’m still wearing regularly

My absolute favorite place to shop in Seattle. They source an amazing array of curated designers and their stylists (especially Allie) are the best around. The customer service I have experienced here is unmatched in Seattle.

I’m a larger size and always have the greatest experience at Pipe and Row. The girls are super friendly and always down to help pair pieces together I wouldn’t have thought about! Such a cool vibe and great female owned small business to support.

Pipe and Row is one of my safe spaces. They have every brand I’m obsessed with and the girls there are so kind/thoughtful. I stop by all of the time to say hi and check out the new inventory. All of my favorite pieces are from here :) Cannot recommend enough ❤️
