I am updating my 1 star review to 2 stars. This review is not about the camp experience because my children could not attend due to testing + for covid the weekend prior to the camp starting. My 1 star review was based on lack of communication/follow through from management. After my kids tested + for covid, I provided the evidence and email requesting a credit, per the covid policy. The management never responded to my emails (I sent a few follow up emails), yet I kept receiving reminders for my kids to attend that week. The camp session was actually the last of the summer - late August. I basically assumed my money for camp (X2) was gone. Out of the blue in early November I received a one-line email stating my registration for camp was going to be refunded. No signature or contact details. I just checked my credit card statement and confirmed that both registration fees were refunded. I am happy that they followed through, but the 2 star review is because of the poor communication.

Too notch summer camps. Outdoor adventures all day. My 10 year old has sampled more than his fair share of summer camps over the years and he said this one “was really cool”. He attended lights and lasers but his favorite week was survival skills. He liked all the counselors and I will definitely be signing him up again next summer.

Our son has attended several Pinnacle camps and had a great time at every one. They offer an excellent variety of programs but each camp offers a consistently solid staff, lots of physical activity outside, and age-compatible buddies to hang out with.

Would never go through pinnacle exploration outdoor school. Management is slow and not organized. The owner is not responsive and ignorant. Would not recommend!

My almost 7 year old attended this camp M-W for the Thanksgiving break and had a blast. The counselor team Sean, Vincent and Hannah was awesome and really engaged with the kids. My son loved the variety of activities, creative outdoor adventures, games, projects, and crafts. He was excited to go back every day and felt comfortable even though he did not know any of the other kids. Thank you Pinnacle for offering such a great camp option!

My daughter has been attending Pinnacle camps for more than 5 years. The richness of the activities, reasonable (especially for Seattle) pricing, flexibility to add on hours if you need more coverage for work, and pure joy can't be beat. She has already returned muddy, exhausted and happy - exactly what you'd hope for in a summer camp. Sean has created something wonderful.

I can’t say enough positive things about Sean and the team! Great folks, great program. I always feel like my kids are safe and looked after. And the kids love all the fun and engaging activities!

I highly recommend the Pinnacle camps! Both of my kids have loved them and are excited for more outdoor exploration with Sean. Sean is incredible with the kids and has surrounded himself with a team that is equally creative and engaging.
