This wine store boasts the largest selection of wines in Seattle. I was able to buy the wine from the northwest region of the US that I was looking for!Hours are short, but it is conveniently located next to the first Starbucks store.

It was a decent sized wine shop and reasonable price. I came here for ice wine and the man at the counter was quite knowledgeable and explained why we cannot see that many Canadian ice wine. He recommended washington state one, well, because that was the only ice wine they had. Regardless it was quite fun visiting here.

Mike and crew are the best! Awesome selection from all over the world. Not a single wine in this shop that isn’t delicious! A Seattle institution and I feel giddy every time I step foot in here to shop! Wine club is an amazing value and I’ve gotten to try some wonderful stuff I would not normally go for. The wine club comes with a an awesome document with notes and pairings for the wines, plus a discount in the store!

Best wine shop in Seattle hands down. Great selection, good values and the staff really cares. Good options from both the Pacific Northwest and old world classics and some cool food items as well. They also have Friday tastings and other special events, a well curated wine club, and many other features. Highly recommended!

I live in Seattle and have been shopping here for more than 25 years. Michael and his staff are knowledgeable and passionate (overused word, but I think it applies) about wine--European wines in particular--and supporting the people who produce them. At Pike and Western, I've never felt pressured to spend more than I'm comfortable with, and I've always felt welcomed when walking through the door. And IMO, their wine club is, as they advertise, the best deal in town!

Michael and team are some of the best in the business. He sparked my joy of wine 30 years ago. Excellent selection, service, and reasonable prices. We enjoying shopping there when we visit Pike Place Market.

As many have pointed out, Pike and Western Wine is small, but has a great collection of curated wines. The staff are very knowledgeable and willing and able to help you make great choices for wines that will go well with your meal and mood. Clearly have many devoted customers as denoted by the items on hold in their shop so you can't miss with this store.

What a total disappointment. I stop here to see what the place is about and to see if I can sample or even get a glass of wine. First of all the place is smaller 1000 sq Ft but in the front not much room to move around, but I'm a large guy and use to that. I walk in and start to look around. This woman giving a speech to maybe 5 people said sir you need to step outside and wait your turn and someone will be with you. She was so smart about it. I said I'm on the opposite side of the room, she said no can't do that. Terrible customer service. Lost any type of business you'd get from me.

Their compact selection of wines is well-curated. Primarily esoteric selections which will require the casual buyer to ask for assistance from a helpful staff. Several old-world selections from very good producers. Pricing is fair if not very good for the selections offered. Recommend.
