Every time I have gone in the same guy is almost always at the checkout and he is never pleasant. He has an attitude every time and, aside from chatting with his coworkers, he doesn’t seem like he wants to be there. I’m to the point that I will drive further to go to a different store so that I don’t need to deal with his attitude.

I took my dog for grooming here since i had a really good experience at one of the other Petco groomer on U-district before i moved. But it turned out the worst for my dog.
I got a call about a couple hours after i left her for her appointment. On the call, a manager said they accidentally scratched and had a small reddish skin patch due to cutting near that area and its their policy to take the dogs to ER for any visible woulds. However, when i get to the ER I find out they ended up wounding my dog in left side of her belly quite close to her left leg where it rubs and shes so vulnerable and its no small scratch. Now looking at the other reviews for this I am beating my own head over why I didnt see the other reviews before choosing this one.
My lil girl is traumatized and needed sutures and unable to even walk properly. Petco incurred all the cost and the manager was very polite and sorry, but I really question the kind of groomers they are hiring. Love Petco but i think the groomers need better training and empathy for dogs and animals.

I've been trying all week to get my dog into the grooming center to get her anal glands expressed. Not pleasant but I have had it done at other Petcos and happy to pay for the service. I went 2 days in a row but they were short staffed and not taking walk-ins. Called the next day and was told the same thing. Called today and the rudest person to ever answer a phone chewed me out for calling the store instead of the groomers who never answer the phone. I was just trying to determine if they were taking walk-ins today and she said she had NO IDEA because she wasn't a groomer. When I went over the weekend, there was a sign that said they weren't taking any. Very visible. Just another omen of the death of customer service. You should know what's up in your own store.

Good source for variety of pet foods. The toy section needs improvement with more toys that can stimulate pets brain. The place, however, has a very bad door. It is pretty old and usually broken. It was very hard for me to enter and exit the place last time I was there. I hope the store owner sees this and try to get a new door! The place deserve a better entrance door.

The manager is always so courteous and polite. I love my neighborhood Petco and I love the Amazon return feature now , very helpful for disabled people .
