I am a big reptile lover and I have owned a lot in the past and I felt like trying to get a reptile from pet smart and I always get reptiles from breeders or expos but I wanted to give a reptile from the hell hole called pet co and pet smart a good life and that's what I did the lizard I got had bad leg problems from low ubb cuz the cages they are small and have barley any heat ubb and also my lizard had mouth rot and other bad health problems so never ever buy a reptile from these hell holes called chain pet stores I hope I help someone bye

Petco has a great grooming department, and we’re especially grateful for Tabby who has been grooming our temperamental and reactive poodle for more than a year now. She’s the only person who is able to work well with our dog and who we trust fully! Since Tabby started working with our dog, our dog has gotten a lot less sensitive about her paws

PLEASE DO NOT USE THEIR GROOMING My husband took our 15-week old Morkie. They were supposed to just cut around his eyes and paws. They called after an hour to say that our pup was stressed out, that he was all "matted" and couldn't finish grooming him. They SHAVED his entire body (didn't touch the head nor paws). I CRIED when I saw the BOTCHED job. If you love your furbaby, do them a favor and find a legitimate, reliable groomer.

Went here for the first time to get my cat some food and litter. They had the largest size litter I've seen and at a significant discount. Excellent variety of cat food, all sorts of brands and styles. The staff was super helpful, personable, and seemed to actually take a genuine interest in me and my cat.I'm usually leery of rewards programs that cost money - but the helpfulness and welcoming attitude of Oddity and Ian sold me on the Vital Care Premium program almost instantly. Considering the benefits you get on items your animal is going to need it's whole life (litter, food, etc) provided you're OK being somewhat brand loyal to a store, it's worth it.But yeah, this isn't even the closest pet shop to my home, but the care I received yesterday - I really felt like they went above and beyond to show me the benefits of the program and what services their store offered to me. I will absolutely be back again, and not just for the program - the people (Oddity and Ian) seemed to genuinely love helping out in a way that I'm frankly not accustomed to. And even more, they were helping other customers quickly, juggling to managing online pick ups...yeah, it was great. It takes a lot to actually write a review about a place but it was so remarkable I just had to say something!Give them raises. Not just COLAs, like, actual raises! They've earned my business as a repeat customer and brought a warmth to Petco I don't typically associate with a large chain.

I placed an online order for delivery. As some may know, Petco uses Doordash to do this service. Critically, as a customer, you do not choose this, or have an option. When you pay on the Petco website PETCO handles the Doordash transaction as a contractor to them. In my case, Doordash did not pick up one of the items I ordered, so I called this location (The one filling the order) to get it resolved. I was told by them "Call Doordash" To me... that is rather crazy! I paid Petco for the service and the order, why do I need to call YOUR contracted delivery company?? I did it anyway. That took 2 HOURS! 2 HOURS! Door dash said they would resolve the issue and go pickup the remaining issue and deliver it within 45 mins. Awesome! After an hour, my order is canceled by Doordash (What the heck??! How can THEY cancel my Petco order?!?) So I call Petco back. I get told " Call Door dash" and "They canceled the order nothing we can do about it" and "You just need to place another order" For why?! FOR WHY!!!?? You are the company I placed the order with, just fix it! I have already spent hours trying to resolve this stupid little issue that is not my fault! At this point, I am paying to do my own customer support?? The next day I called Petco corporate. They said they had no idea why the local store didn't just create a new order and send it out, they could have resolved it without issue. The bottom line, is just terrible customer service. I for one will never buy from Petco again. I know this is a small issue in the grand plan of life, but it is the little things that keep customers coming back and why should I or any of us support a company and a group of individuals that can't be bothered to take a few minutes to do what they are paid to do, and what I as a customer paid for. I implore all those reading this to do the same. Go find a local company to support. Some place where they understand that Customer service and reputation matter- and that we all have a choice to be treated better.

Went in tonight and in the entire huge store there was ONE cashier checking out a line of five people. They ended up being so kind and I feel terrible for them, named Oddity. I have also had so many great experiences with Dan who i think is a manager (or should be). Apparently the only other person there tonight named Devin (sp?) was in the back doing ignoring the multiple pages for assistance. I couldnt find something and needed help so I had to ask ODDITY to do so (call for someone to assist me.) I walked through the entire store before doing so. Even stuck my head in an employees area and said "hello?" multiple times. Then when Devin finally did nonchalantly as humanly possible saunter out to help me, he was totally unapologetic. Oddity was working so hard, this other person Devin is not a team player. And the place deserves more stars given my interactions with Dan have been so stellar, but i want someone to see this and pay attention.

My dog used to be groomed by Joey who is amazing! Always satisfied with grooming and treatment of my pup. Joey is now grooming at Mr. pups pet care in case anyone was wondering!

Very misleading prices. I picked something from this bin. The register rings up to not be $5. And the store associate insisted me to pay the original price even though I showed him where I picked it. Honestly nbd so I just returned it. Maybe stop running fake sale/promotion?
