Privately owned company with service that always exceeds standards. Gotta get an appointment and a referral to look around here. Dave and rose are top notch and some of the best gemologist around. They are also focussed on ensuring you are satisfied and educated on what you are buying. I recommend going here if you can! My wife also LOVES the ring.

Honest, Trustworthy and Exceptional customer service. I've made several purchases and appreciate their willingness to understand my desires and exceed my expectations. The most recent purchase was under an extremely tight time frame. Once again, they exceeded expectations. In fact, Dave made certain the earrings were mailed the same day with overnight delivery. I have been going to see Dave and Rose for over 12 years. The very first time I met Dave he sat me down and gave me a class on diamonds. We talked for about 2 hours, and he told me that there was no pressure to buy. He even encouraged me to go to other jewelers to compare the quality that he was showing me. I ended up buying our wedding set through them and have never been happier. After I selected the diamonds I worked with Rose to create a custom set. She was so helpful in designing a unique set with modern styles! We continue to get compliments daily on what they created. I have gone back over the years for many things; rhodium dipping of the rings, diamond earring, custom necklace and diamond pendant, insurance claims for repair and replacement of damaged jewelry. I have recommended them to my friends as well. They all continue to say what I already know. Dave and Rose are amazing and knowledgeable people who treat you like family and not a sale!!

Needed a replacement diamond for the one that fell out of my wife's wedding ring. The owner Dave spoke to me several times over the phone to really find out what we wanted. He gave us several great options. He happened to have family by us over in Yakima, and was coming to town on personal business. He took the time to come by my workplace and show me options. We ended up with much more than expected for size and quality. He honored his quotes and he delivered on time and correct. The personal touch meant a lot to us. i will definitely be a return customer. Best of all, my wife was completely ecstatic with the results!

Amazing pair to work with. While I know them personally, they have done some great work for me. I had my mom's old wedding ring that I wanted to make into a pendant. Rose helped me figure out what I wanted and the necklace turned out beautiful. I would recommend Pacific Gem to any one of my friends, family and coworkers.

Amazing pair to work with for any of your jewelry needs. I had my mom's old wedding ring that I wanted to make into a pendant. Rose helped me figure out what I wanted and the necklace turned out beautiful. I also had a ring that I had damaged that I took into Rose to see if she could fix it and her jeweler was able to straighten it out, put the diamonds back into place and tighten everything up. I would recommend Pacific Gem to any one of my friends, family and coworkers.

From start to finish it was a very easy process. They fully explained everything about the diamonds and the differences. Their policy that they will always buy back the diamond to upgrade made it an even easier because I couldn't afford the diamond I initially wanted for the engagement ring.

Doug Stone owner and operator of this boutique jewelry store will completely take advantage and rip you off. My fiancé had a mint condition ring, worn twice, from a previous marriage on consignment with Pacific Gem since he bought it from them. He decided that it was not going to sell and he wanted a ring for me. Instead of trading dollar for dollar, not like Doug was going to lose anything, Doug convinced my fiancé to trade the beautiful white gold bezel set with over half a carat diamond ring that Doug charged him $2000.00 for and convinced him to exchange for a loose Columbian emerald. Not even set in a ring! Did I mention emeralds are one of the worst center stones for an engagement ring. Most jewelers say they're too soft however Doug Stone will argue that they're brittle. Either way he knew it was not acceptable for daily wear. Soap can ruin an emerald as well as hot water. My fiancé took me along with this basically worthless stone to try and get Doug to do the right thing and return the original ring or let me choose something close and my fiancé would pay difference. My daughter and her fiancé are both jewelers that manage the shop departments for 2 different Jared jewelry stores. Unfortunately my fiancé was trying to surprise me and get the value from original ring returned as it was an exchange. My daughter and her fiancé did everything they could think of to get some value out of this stone, they couldn't even get $300.00 for it. They finally decided there was nothing to be done but learn the lesson of staying away from Pacific Gem. Today they bought a simple white gold band, when they removed it from its overly padded box they found it was broken, the very bottom tip of stone is gone. Doug Stone will never make good on this purchase and put a dark cloud over what should've been a magical moment in our lives. Buyer beware, Doug Stone acts as if he has no say so on prices, exchanges or making things right with his customers so keep in mind IF you must go and tempt fate he IS the owner and he does have the power to make decisions to make his customers happy if he so chooses. He had several rings I absolutely loved and would've traded for but he said he couldn't do it as if it wasn't his store. I cannot write enough about what a disappointment this experience was. He could've had a life long customer but now I tell everyone to avoid his shop unless they want to be overcharged. The wedding industry is huge and there are many many options. If you want honest prices and quality work or even custom work I can give you the numbers to the stores my daughter and her fiancé manage. Stay as far from Doug Stone and Pacific Gem as possible, it's truly sad how they treat their customers and amazing that they're still in business. I've worked customer service for over 30 years and if you want repeat customers you don't treat them like Doug Stone does. Perhaps he's overcharged so many people over the years he no longer cares because he's got a giant nest egg. Julie Brandsma
