the items are cute however the old guy (owner or co-owner) is rude and confrontational. He yelled at me for picking up a hat when the shop was otherwise completely empty. You don’t have to roll out the red carpet for folks, but why would I spend my money in a shop where I feel unwelcome? If people keep missing the “don’t touch the hats” sign, maybe it’s cause you have too many signs up. Just a thought.

I am so thankful to the woman who runs this shop. I left my wallet on the checkout counter after buying some goodies there on my last day in Seattle and she held onto it for me until I was able to pick it up. Super respectful and kind. Osara was easily my favorite spot in Pike, I got some really cute little items for gifts so I’m looking forward to shopping there again on my next visit! Thank you!!!

A beautiful shop, with an extremely talented artist. Everything from vintage Japanese records, eye-catching art, a variety of products, this is a definite stop for the perfect gift for yourself or a loved one.

Love visiting this shop when I’m in Seattle. Can’t stand the cashier. As the daughter of a Japanese-Wife-Guy, I implore him to be less annoying about it. Shikata ga nai.

A MUST go if you’re in the area and are even slightly interested in Japanese culture, knickknacks, accessories, and more! Every time I’ve visited, the lady running the shop has been so sweet, attentive, and has offered to help with anything I needed. The store itself is GREAT, but she is truly its lifeblood. I always buy a new beanie from their wide selection of designs and colors. Every item is priced very well, you’re guaranteed to find something worth buying. Please please please do yourself a favor and check OsaraCom out!

I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone! I usually love things from Japan and made the mistake of searching for this store. The shop keeper is so unkind. There are lots of other places worth checking out instead!

Cute little store. They have lots of random stuff. There are Nick nacks from Japan, old vinyls of Japanese and American music, cute apparels by the owner, post cards, etc. Just give it looksy. The prices are reasonable also.

This shop is so unique and cute! I bought two beanies and some stickers while there, and got some post cards as well. It seemed like the owner was working there when we came and he told us his wife made the designs. He was very sweet; I recommend coming here!

What a gem of a store. Super small cute Japanese good store with original drawings and art. Locally owned and loved. I visited in March in the early morning and the older man was super sweet and told stories about the art in the store.

Great place! There’s a good selection of authentic Japanese goods that are very reasonably priced. The man working there was very nice and polite, and he told me that him and his wife run the shop, (the Japanese lady people are probably mentioning in reviews) and she’s the one who creates all the cute cat artwork you see. I will be coming here again, thank you!

Been coming here for about 2 years now. There’s always something new that I find inside. The owners (husband and wife) are super sweet. The wife designs all the apparel and postcards/artwork. She is extremely talented, I constantly tell people to go here to check it out. A bit hard to find at first but once you do it’s simple to get back.

Awesome place, owner was very kind and the art was excellent. The art is awesome and detailed. Not crazy overpriced here like some other places. Would recommend.
