Dr. Downer came highly recommended by colleagues and replaced both of my hips in 2010. Perfect minimally invasive procedure had me back at work 13 days after surgery and no outside physical therapy. He is highly skilled and is a good listener. I have recommended him to many friends. When osteoarthritis ruined my shoulders, I knew the only place to call was Orthopedic Specialists of Seattle. Dr. Shapiro replaced one shoulder in late 2021 and the other in the summer of 2022. Dr. Shapiro has same expertise and compassion I experienced with Dr. Downer. The physical therapy was tough, but the rewards have been worth it. I would not let any other orthopedic surgeoncare for me except this organization.

Dr. Garcia and team did an amazing job with my labrum repair. Staff was patient, professional and helpful in the run-up to surgery. Dr. Garcia and his team walked me through everything in detail and ensured I was comfortable and educated about the procedure. The whole experience was top notch, and I can’t recommend him enough!

I just had a partial shoulder replacement surgery from Dr. Joel Shapiro. He operated on me last more than 10 years ago, on September 11, 2013. He was great then and he is great now. I would see him anytime without hesitation

Mark Reed is a master orthopedic surgeon specializing in foot and ankle.He has performed eight surgeries on me and continues to give me the best care with any ongoing injuries. my husband has also had a crushing foot injury with multiple surgeries needed performed by Dr. Reed. I am extremely active which results sometimes in injuries. We only trust Mark Reed MD for our Foot/Ankle orthopedic needs.

Dr. Peterson carefully took the time to hear my story, examine my knee, and talk about the pros and cons of each treatment option. He clearly laid out all the downsides of a knee replacement so that there would be no surprises when/if we got to that point. Feeling very confident in my understanding of my situation now. Highly recommend.

The Secretary and Surgery scheduler Sara Hopkins needs a raise and assisant because she has way to much work to do for just one person. The Surgeon Charles A. Peterson ll MD was very nice and very professional and did excellent job with all the different phases of my Surgery. To explaining everything to me and how long I would have to be on the hospital and how many hours it was going to take to do the Surgery to everything I needed to know. About taking out the partial and putting in the full knee replacement. Couldn't have been any better. Six weeks post Op. no crutches and no cane and 122% or more of knee bending. Dr Peterson is an excellent orthopedic surgeon. He is experienced and communicates in a way that is straightforward and easy to understand. My outcome has exceeded my expectations in every way. I would highly recommend him for anyone considering shoulder surgery.

He explains everything in layman’s terms and touches on every point necessary so that I can make educated decisions about my treatment.The staff are also just as kind, personable and helpful, and everyone makes me feel comfortable being there. Dr. Mark Reed is an exceptional physician. Several years ago, he performed an incredible operation on my mother's badly broken leg. My mother is 94 years old today and doing well. For me, Dr. Reed completely healed a dead bone in my left foot with a new procedure called Extracorporeal Shock Wave Therapy. Currently, I am seeing him for an issue with my right foot and I have every confidence in the therapy he determines is best for me.

Dr Charles Peterson is always attentive to my needs and inputs.At this 1 year follow-up for partial knee replacement, he provided me with much welcomed assurance, the 100% success of the prior surgery. He did this through imaging (X-Ray) as well as physical examination.Dr Peterson (again through imaging) was also able to explain likely causes for joint pain in my other knee.In addition (although not scheduled for this appointment), Dr Peterson addressed potential causes for my lingering shoulder pain.I am totally confident and extremely satisfied with the Orthepedic care I receive from Dr Charles Peterson.-Rick
