They always go above and beyond even offering to modify a leash to be metal free for me for flying with a service dog in training to make security easier. Every encounter has been positive over the many trips we've taken there and they have a great selection!

I’ve rarely found a store with such consistently happy staff. They are always kind and curious in the best ways! Wonderful selection, and I know my animals are always getting something healthy. We’ve had a few times where our picky 4 legged friends either didn’t like the food or it didn’t agree with them and the folks at Mud Bay have always been great at not just processing a return, but also at finding options that will work!

Always friendly. Four stars because Not enough toy selection and I end up buying on line. Really want them to carry Tug-Enough toys, Lamby, nosework kits.

Always a great place to visit. I end up going here maybe once a month and every time I get great service and there are plenty of options. This last time I visited, the rep was telling another customer about a cat toy she recommends. I took her advice and bought that toy and my cat loves it! I also got some gelato for my dog and he loves that as well.

I have been a customer of Mud Bay for years. Recently I have noticed a change in attitude and difficulty in accessing brands and different sizes. I inquired about a size of can and was told that things simply come and go. I left and bought the product at another store in the area.

Mud Bay always has the best stuff for my kitty clients. But the owners of the stores are the real reason I shop there. They care and their dedication shows every day. An employee owned store should be the norm instead of the exception.

We visited a little over a month ago with our new puppy. We walked in and wandered around until we found the varieties of puppy foods they carried. We had probably stayed in that section for 10 minutes and then one of the employees came over to ask if we needed assistance. We shared that we had just picked up our puppy a week ago and were looking to transition his food for fear that he may have had an allergy to the chicken in it. The employee was incredibly helpful and guided us through what kind of food we were looking for. The employee also came back with a bunch of food samples and treats to try, all free of chicken, which we really appreciated as first time puppy owners with a pup who isn't very food-motivated. The employee was extremely friendly, sharing about his own experiences with his dog and encouraging us to try different foods and see what our pup likes. Mud Bay's return policy is great too. If a product doesn't work out for you or your pet, you can bring it back in for a refund or they can help you find something that might be a better fit!When we checked out, the employee helping us gave us multiple pamphlets explaining how to transition a dog's food (i.e., kibble, freeze-dried, raw, etc.) to the same or other types of dog foods. We didn't catch the employee's name but we can't thank him enough! We left the store feeling way more confident than we had when we entered. We will be coming back to shop here in the future!

Best pet supplies shop I've ever been to, and I've had pets all my life. When I got a new cat they let me try a few different cans of wet food free of charge to see what he would like best, and when I decided to change his dry food, they gave me an excellent recommendation and instructions for switching him over. The employees are always very friendly and helpful!

I came in to buy hay for my bunnies and noticed that this Mud Bay was carrying a new brand I had never heard of. Brendan was so helpful and did a ton of research for me to ensure that it’s a reputable brand to replace the brand I had been used to buying. He truly went above and beyond and was so kind (I’m a paranoid bunny mom lol). You can tell he cares so much about the pets and the customers.

The selection for small dogs is fantastic and the staff is knowledgeable and kind. Also, I'm disabled and--w/out my asking--they always open their heavy doors for me. And, of course, they give my dog treats! Just an A+ institution all the way around.

It was my first time here at the store. The staff made me feel so welcome and even gave me samples to try for my anxious puppy. She was very understanding and kept encouraging me to keep trying different anxiety products to help my dog, and even gave me a thank you card for coming to the store the first time. I am very appreciative and thankful for the staff kind services. This make me feel so happy. I will come back in the future! Also the store is very big with a lot of options to choose from. I am very excited and would love to shop more at the store in the future when I come to Seattle. Thank you staff!
