Had one day of free time - showed up at opening time and waited until 20 minutes AFTER posted opening time - and no one showed up. Disappointing as I had looked forward to visiting - and had money to spend. Adhere to your posted hours!!!!!!

Looks like a nice selection of toys, however we went there twice without any success: first note showed, store assistant is back in 10 minutes, but didn't. Next morning we came back again making our way from the hotel by taxi there. Another waste of our time and money without getting anything: At 11am (according to his opening times shown at the door) and after having waited for 15 minutes, shop still didn't open, no one came, but several potential customers waited and left then too. Why showing opening times, when these are handled so flexible?!

Needed a very specific car for my father's birthday. Found the exact model online with a week to go and ordered it 2nd day air to be safe. Looked at the tracking info this morning and it wasn't going to get here till late next week!! So I found this shop online and took a trip downtown (the phone number listed isn't correct), total hail Mary to try and save the day.Google maps steered me wrong, but once I found my way to the shop (deep in the bowels of the super interesting / eclectic Pike Place Market), it was exactly what I was looking for! The owner was helpful and friendly, the car I needed was within arms reach and the price was reasonable (a bit more than online prices, but I didn't have to factor in shipping).10/10 would shop here again.

My friend and I were in the area looking for Sonny Angels and Smiskis! This place is such a hidden gem for both of them.It’s not located next to target. You go into Pike’s place and go right at the fish throwing stall. Next to Chicken Valley, there is a ramp. Above the ramp is a neon sign saying “Entrance Lower Floor”. Go down the ramp and Miniature Car Dealer is right at the bottom!The man working there is so nice and will bring out all of the boxes onto his counter. The sonny angels and smiskis at time of writing are both 12.99 a box.

So, keep in mind that I am a collector of diecast models and I know my stuff. I try to be fair when writing reviews, but I will greatly state any negative feedback I encounter during my visit(s).This place doesn't allow videos of their store. They have a sign posted. WHAT! This is America! You are in a structure that is crowded with tourists! I'm sure most of the money made here is from tourists! Tourists want to take pictures and videos. You also can't take food or drinks inside. Again, tourists. They have drinks and stuff in their hands. Fine.When I got to the establishment, I saw a handwritten sign that stated that it would be close that day (October 11). Well, I tried visiting the store on October 12. The store was closed. I thought that maybe they would open later. I came back later, and it was still closed. I usually don't give stores any further chances once they don't stay true to their hours.Now, I was in the area again on Saturday, October 14. I happened to pass by the doecast store, and it was open. I wasn't going to enter. However, my spouse made a point to just check it out since I'm a collector.I went inside and looked around. The man working in the store didn't bother to acknowledge me. Fine. I looked at some Hot Wheels and the prices were ridiculous! ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS! Regular or "mainline Hot Wheels," as collectors go by, we're $11.99 and up! Whaaaat??? They have Hot Wheels that cost about $1.20 selling at over $12!! No way! If it was a popular Hot Wheels model, the price was about $14!! I wish I took videos, but I didn't want to man to get upset, though it's a violation of my First Amendment right to do so in a public setting. Those were just the prices of basic Hot Wheels.Keep in mind that I still haven't gotten an acknowledgment from the man working there. As I'm looking at prices of other items, it became apparent to me that maybe they have ridiculous prices in order to capitalize on tourists. Items that should be selling at about $7 were selling for about $24. Items worth about $15 were selling for about $45 and so on! Absurd! EVERYTHING WAS OVERPRICED!Eventually, I made a comment to the man. I asked a question about one of his display cases he had his cars in. He replied and that was that. I will take my tourist money elsewhere.

Location on Google Map is wrong! This store is located inside Pike Place market. It is very fun place for (toy) cars fans!

All week long in Seattle I had been wanting to find a car shop. Looking for some older mainline. Finally find this place and it's closed. Multiple places on the internet say it's open, and it isn't.Thats super frustrating.Sign on the door says they'll be open. But they're closed.Messaged on Facebook. No reply. Called the number. Rang busy.Prices look about right for a museum if I'm being honest. From the window the prices are insane - if you're shopping. If you're just there to see cars - it's perfect as he has a lot to look at. Can't shop if they can't be open.But that's post-covid for you I guess. Same problem everywhere. All the rest of the shops are open at noon on a Monday. Not this one. The only one I wanted to see.
