I’m usually picky with wine, whiskey etc, same goes for my coffee. The notes I picked up from the beans alone were enough to kick start my morning routine. The palate for each bag was delightful and not over roasted to hide unwanted flavors like some companies do. (subtle jab ?)Personal favorites are the Brazilian Estate and Bourbon-aged coffee. But be in the look out for their seasonal blends.I also learned that they partner directly with coffee farmers to source their beans which translates to better sustainability for the farms. Truly a win-win situation in my opinion while I enjoy every sip.

Middle Fork Roasters is amazing! Can’t speak highly enough about the team that they’ve got there. They are so willing to share their passion with those that are interested. Not only that, but the coffee roasted here is incredible. Definitely consider picking up a bag next time you see it.

Just got a fresh roasted batch. Was suggested to use 19 grams of coffee for espresso. Came out perfectly. The flavor and texture is spot on. Thank you.

Bought their beans (within a week of roasting date) at met market. Bought several different types from light to dark. Initial aroma was great. Now I’ve tried them all and guess what, all espresso roast. None maintained any flavor in a mocamaster drip machine. Back to Olympia coffee for me! When coffee is this one dimensional I don’t understand why folks don’t just buy cans of grounds!

I really enjoy middle fork roasters, full city, espresso beans. They have distribution through QFC, which makes it easy to find. I use them in my espresso machine grinder and get a consistent grind with these delicious fresh beans. The roast is between medium to dark, and full-bodied.

This coffee roaster is amazing! They make damn good coffee. Also, if you want a super cool gift, they can put your photo on the bag of coffee with room for a message on the back. Also Macky gave me a tour and their Coffee Parlor is so adorable for an event or tasting. I am waiting for a big birthday to schedule something soon!

I’m a strong believer in supporting small local businesses even if it sometimes means spending a little more. And in the Seattle market of premium coffee, there’s no shortage of fine coffee roasters. I totally skip the corporate sellers and seek out Middle Fork Roasters because IMHO it’s the best small-batch, local roaster. They offer nice selection of fine varieties but Back Pedal is my go-to, especially for cold brew. Plus Macky and all the staff are super nice too!

Fellow high maintenance coffee snobs, this is for you. I'm a stickler for super fresh roasted amazing coffee (I have a high end Italian espresso machine that looks down on anything less! :) Middle Fork delivers on taste and super high quality and I've tried all the high end brands out there over the years. I buy direct from them online (shipped directly to me) as I know I will always get beans that are never more than a few days from being roasted. Their customer service is excellent.

I'm a stickler for super fresh roasted amazing coffee (I have a high end Italian espresso machine that looks down on anything less! :) Middle Fork delivers on taste and super high quality. All of their beans result in a beautiful shot, so don't hesitate to experiment with different products (i do love Tough as Nails and contrary to the title, is a beautifully balanced bean!) I also buy direct from them online as I know I will always get beans that are never more than a few days from being roasted. Their customer service is excellent. I could not have made it through this pandemic without Middle Fork!

It was the worst Ethiopian coffee. After a sip, my roommates refused to drink the coffee.
