Disappointed! Do not waste your money on the premade flower bouquets. My husband got me a beautiful floral arrangement and 1/2 the flowers died within 24 hrs. The lilies lasted a few days longer but for over $30 it was a waste of money! I gave Met another try before this review and had the same experience. I got 2 mini bouquets for friends and was told they died within 2 days. Trader joe's is the place to go.Plus there is an older woman with grey shoulder length hair that was so inconvenienced by my one question I had for her, she had a snarky response which I did not appreciate it. Another florist kindly assisted me but overall am turned off by the whole experience.

I saw them follow a man around the store for no reason and accuse of him of stealing. With no evidence just prejudice.

I prefer PCC, but it has a nice selection. Convenient, but very expensive.

The people in the floral section are incredible and have made me a loyal patron. Their flowers are always lovely and the folks there are informative and super helpful.I do my normal grocery shopping at a more budget-friendly store, but the produce, salad bar, and meat station are very much worth it.

I made the mistake of shoplifting at this location last December the manager on duty asked me to kindly put back the items as he saw what I did and I complied then he proceeded to buy me dinner at the deli. This is one of the nicest people I've ever met, I hope he's able to read this. He also should be promoted to night time manager if he isn't aleady. He has gray hair, and a grey beard, and probably in his 60s. I'm gainfully employed and no longer homeless thanks to Seattle, love to all thanks. Needless to say won't happen again.

They should post a front door sign saying “ONLY WHITE PEOPLE ALLOWED”If you have brown skin, they will follow you around because according to them; brown skin people can’t afford to buy in here. Management is aware of that and won’t correct it.

One of my favorite grocery stores in West Seattle! Fresh produce and an excellent selection of cheese. I can buy products that you can't find in any other grocery or specialty store. Also, delicious soups and entrees can be purchased at their deli if you don't feel like cooking, and don't forget to pick up one of their amazing chocolate chip cookies!

Great market with hard to find items, delicious prepared meals as well. Their floral department have such a lovely selection, and you'll always find a special bouquet ready to go.

After waiting in a long line for my groceries to be rung up I was charged twice the price for an item that wasn't in their system and the clerk mis-remebered the correct price. After checking the price on the shelf I was told (by the manager) I would need to wait in line again to get a refund. I felt I should have been bumped to the front of the line as it was their error. Poor customer service.

This place is aces. I like to cook and that can involve finding the right ingredients. Sometimes the hard to find ingredients. Usually I can count on metropolitan markets to come through. They have a wide variety of top quality easy to find foods as well. Not for the faint of heart as they are more expensive than the more common grocery chains. But alas, when top quality and specialty items are going to make or break your fancy feast, this is the place to go, hands down.

We love metropolitan market. Their house pasta and sauces are the only ones we use anymore. Likewise, they're frozen Italian meatballs.We get two for one offers so we go there two or three times a month for top quality meat, fish and produce.The prime rib French dip is worth going out of your way for. We had it with extra meat and one sandwich was plenty for two people.Last week we bought their barbecued pork ribs. We had tried them once before and resolved to get a supply. We bought two pounds and had several meals throughout the week. They're just wonderful!There's a great selection of cheeses and fresh food by the pound. There's a poke bar. There's hot food by the pound.The staff members are friendly and helpful. There's plenty of parking.UPDATE 12/1/23BOGO sockeye salmon, yum!
