Metropolitan Market West Seattle is one of the favorite grocery stores in the area. It offers a wide variety of high-quality products, including fresh produce, an excellent selection of cheese, and products you can't find elsewhere. The sushi is a standout, described as fresh, delicious, and worth every penny. The deli provides delicious soups, entrees, and amazing chocolate chip cookies for those who don't feel like cooking. The floral section is incredible with always lovely flowers and super helpful, informative people. The produce, salad bar, and meat station are very much worth it. Customer service experiences vary. Many report fantastic and helpful service, with one manager showing exceptional kindness. However, there have been isolated incidents of uncomfortable yelling between staff members witnessed by shoppers. Order accuracy for delivery can sometimes be an issue, but the store is credited for making things right when contacted. Overall, it is a place loved by many for its amazing food and high-quality offerings.
Ordered in lunch via Doordash. Sandwich was supposed to be hot but it was stone cold (tho it was tasty with nice bread). The fruit salad was all melon, no berries as pictured. Update: I called them and to their credit they replaced everything!! Another star earned

We absolutely LOVE the sushi here! It’s the only thing we come for, and it never disappoints—fresh, delicious, and worth every penny. While the store has a wide variety of high-quality products, the sushi is truly the standout for us.

I prefer PCC, but it has a nice selection. Convenient, but very expensive.
