The elderly woman with blue eyeliner working self checkout on 4/20 at 4pm on Saturday made me extremely uncomfortable. I don't think I've ever been treated like a thief at a MM before. I smiled and said hi and was greeted with a blank face. It was extremely off-putting as a paying customer to be questioned about every item I put in my bag, with her standing 12 inches away from me. I realize I don't look like the average wealthy Magnolia resident, but my money is just as green. Please train your employees to be more kind.

This has always been one of the worst Metropolitan Markets in the chain but has gone even further downhill in recent months. During my last visit there were multiple packs of expired deli meats on the shelf and I unwittingly bought a piece of rotten cheese. I wish this was the first time this happened but it hasn't. Don't shop here, go to PCC instead.

Don't mind them overpricing things, I do mind the poor selection of items they lack and lack of quality smoothies and orange juices they have elsewhere. They don't have Columbia gorge drinks/smoothies and they lack the Aloha bars like they do at their other locations. They also don't carry quality laundry detergent either like Zum Indigo Wild.

My favorite store in Seattle. Great selection & great quality with prices that are generally comparable to or better than the big chain stores.

This place is just fantastic for getting your hands on some mouthwatering groceries. I mean, seriously, they've got an incredible variety of fresh produce, from these vibrant, juicy fruits to these crunchy, farm-fresh veggies. And let me tell you, the way they've organized the aisles is just impeccable. It's like they want you to find everything you need effortlessly. Now, let's talk about the staff. They're not just friendly, they're downright knowledgeable. They know their stuff, and they're always there, ready and eager to assist you in finding the absolute best ingredients for your recipes. I mean, who doesn't appreciate that kind of service? And here's the real kicker: whether you're all about that organic lifestyle or you're on the hunt for some unique international flavors, this place has got you covered. It's like a treasure trove of epicurean delights.Just thinking about it all makes me... well, let's just say it's pretty darn amazing.

Store has great quality items but having odd employees who tend to always stand really close to you makes the shopping experience odd. I don't need some one to stand shoulder to shoulder with me or having to stand right behind me. Having the employees learn about personal space would not be a bad idea.

Great neighborhood market with a fantastic selection of everything. Regular grocery items and even specialty meats, cheeses, and produce, and a pretty big wine selection. All the staff are so friendly and warm it's just a nice experience every time we go.We're from Los Angeles and honestly, even as silly as it might seem, going to this market gives that small neighborhood cozy vibe that we absolutely cannot get where we live. Also parking is pretty good, have never had an issue not finding a space to park here.

We live close and come here often. Mainly coffee and for produce. The staffing is skeleton crew in the deli and over thanksgiving the hot food section was closed. The checkers are generally not very happy and the person who lingers at the self checkout but doesn't help makes people avoid it. The prices here are high and compared to Sand Point or QA it doesn't even feel like the same brand of store. Updating to say there is a man who has worked here forever in the deli who is clearly very ill and should not be working with food. He's been getting more unwell as the year has gone on. People don't want to be helped by him. Come on Met Market. I feel for this guy.

This is a super cute mini whole foods (without the beauty dept that I could find) The store is beautiful, bright, clean, tons of organic produce, specialty items and wine.

The biggest hit for this location is that self checkout is two stalls. To compare to other locations, Queen Anne has six or seven self checkout stalls, and Mercer has at least four. I don't know if they don't get enough foot traffic to this location or if it's to prevent loss, but it definitely made me not want to come back. While their selection of Rind chips (what I was there to clean them out of) was well stocked, the store was incredibly chilly and fairly empty. Their parking area was a small lot attached to the back door and the entire store seemed designed oddly. All in all, there are nicer, larger locations to go to, and this Magnolia Metropolitan Market is not the vibe.

Great local market with fresh produce and meat. If you’ve got a sweet tooth try their “the cookie”, it doesn’t disappoint.

The self checkout is closed and they don't manage their lines well when it's busy. Kind of disappointing.

Very cute neighborhood location! I was expecting a larger Metropolitan Market but it did not disappoint. The staff, I enacted with was friendly and my one year side kick thoroughly enjoyed the meal.

Beautifully maintained grocery store. Produce department seems to have fresh vegetables & fruits. Bakery Items, deli foods & meats look fresh & appetizing. Flowers at main entrance brighten up the day. Only concern is overall pricing.

Several thoughts. The prices here are outrageous now. There is at least one person at the bakery who has zero customer service skills and we avoid when working. There needs to be more basic sandwich items and easier deli wait times. The deli always gets the amounts of what your order wrong. Love the flowers and some of the checkers. Adding that the self check lane appears to only be open when one particular employee is there and she stands ON TOP of you. There can be 100 people waiting in the other lanes and 2 self checks closed. Everyone comments about this but it remains.
