MegaPath was super easy to sign up for, taking just a moment on their website, and my installer Steve arrived on time and very quickly hooked me up to Internet dramatically faster than my Comcast for about 1/3rd the price. My only regret is not signing up the day MegaPath became available in my building!!!

Wish we would have read the prior reviews. Maybe there is a class action suit we can file for the bogus "regulatory recovery surcharge" they're billing for. I will continue to post monthly until our contract ends. BEWARE - Our bill doubled!!

JUST PLAIN HORRIBLE! You will spend hours with customer support. We were never able to get the system working properly. Phone calls are dropped, wrong phones will ring, their training is a joke. They hold you hostage with the contract. Their portal is a mess and horrible to navigate. Bottom line, you will lose business if this is the company you choose to use for your primary point of contact. Not to mention to money you will pay in man hours having your staff troubleshoot.

MegaPath is MegaLame. This isp is the most overpriced disaster I've ever had the displeasure to work with. The speed is extremely slow, and always the customers fault. The setup took over a month with different sub contractors being shuffled through. If you want to get blamed for poor service, this ISP is for you.

Megapath is a sorry substitute for Speakeasy. All of the sophistication and no-nonsense excellence of Speakeasy is gone, replaced by a shambolic ineptitude and corporate dysfunction that made Comcast look like a good idea. I had DSL from Speakeasy for a decade and then several years of business voice and DSL from them before they were subsumed into Megapath. I signed my last three year contract with them in October of 2013 and have been trying to get them to cancel my service for more than a month since it ended. First they offered to have the Cancellations department call me to send a shipping label for the equipment I leased from them. When that call failed to materialize, I called them again and they told me that they had renewed my contract without my consent. I have invited them to take me to court for it. Perhaps you will do better with them. Every big corporation has earned some nasty reviews, including my current ISP. Even so, I am ditching Megapath for their ongoing inability to provide reliable voice and data services and their equivocation during my last service interruption. I elected to get service from Comcast after my latest outage where my retail business had no internet service for four days. My shop uses cloud-based POS software and authorizes credit card purchases over the net. I was obliged to buy a mobile hotspot to keep things working during the outtage. During that time, Megapath tech support expressed confusion that I had voice but not other net service working and denied that the problem was something anyone else was experiencing. After a day or two of this, they admitted that the issue was known and widespread and that they were trying to resolve it and would call me back. They did not call back and my efforts to call for updates got me nowhere. In fairness, many of their tech people came from Speakeasy and are smart and decent people but the business side of the operation is too much for me. Perhaps they'll squeeze the money for their so-called contract out of me after litigation. Because the tech folks are so decent, I probably would have continued suffering the bad connectivity--the copper lines and related hardware in my area are leased from Centurylink and can't be relied on in rain, and it rains all the time here--but the fact of the matter is that when I described my outtage to them, they pretended that it was a unique occurrence instead of a widespread, already known issue. They weren't selling me a reliable connection, and when they lost my trust, there was nothing left to keep me from trying a different broadband technology from a different giant corp.

If their customer service employees have the same level of horrible communication skills that the HR office has I can totally understand all of these negative reviews. The woman from HR was incredibly rude and condescending and this is being polite. I guess rudeness and poor service are two prime features of this company. Get a grip grumpy HR lady and show some respect for people!

Installation was a breeze, set up quick and fast. Had several questions during the process and customer service was always very friendly and courteous. Speeds are what they said to expect and the best part it works 24 hours a day no problems.

They seemed nice at first but were very sketchy. I called once and chatted another time while trying to set up service with them. They asked for my address and then after making sure it is correct, they hung up. Same thing while chatting online. They asked for my address, then exited the chat...

I have been a customer since 2008 (COVAD back then), and have always been pleased with the service. Initially, the service was only T1, but migrated to VOIP about 4 years ago. Service from MegaPath has always been very good, and any issues encountered have been quickly resolved. Their technical support is very professional and competent and have always resolved my issues in a timely manner.

The transition to Megapath went very smoothly (once we got AT&T to stop holding us hostage). The setup of the equipment was very professional and the port of the phone numbers was quick and painless.

Megapath has changed the way we are able to work. We are a distributed company with everyone working in remote locations, yet we are able to have a centralized phone system that keeps everyone connected. The tools are easy to use and the mobile app makes it easy change our configuration even when we are away. We also run a Call Center with different agents answering the phone from each of their individual homes. We love this company, and our Rep, Heidi Rennewitz, and what they have allowed us to do!!!

We have been with Megapath happily for many years. The easy for international calls works extremely well for us. About four years ago we moved our office. Megapath mangled the phone move flawlessly.

Recently switched over to Megapath from one of the other major providers and I couldn't be happier. The installation process was smooth and easy. There were a few minor hiccups after install but we smoothed them out. The customer service has been outstanding. I can say my service is much clearer and we are not having problems dropping calls like we were with our other provider. I don't know why we didn't switch over sooner!

I came to MegaPath twice for business meetings. The people I interacted with were great. There is no parking at all at this location so you have to find a paid street parking spot, a parking garage or paid lot somewhere nearby.
