“Warm, inviting local sandwich shop - I was living in Seattle temporarily and would stop by the shop because just the smell alone was so wonderful and enticing - friendly people who do what they do incredibly well - I highly recommend!”

“Looks like they're closed for good. How sad. I loved this place. Best lunch on the block. I should have tried their ribs when I had the chance. Hopefully they reopen in the near future.”

“This is a great local butcher with lots of options and even more wisdom on how to cook, prepare and select meat. They don’t just have protein. You can also find cheese, eggs, vegetables, bones, sauces, rubs, spices, jerky, landjaeger‘s, and much more. The staff is very kind and knowledgeable and there is enough differently prepared meat here to keep your mealtime interesting for a long time.”

“Fun, friendly, knowledgeable, and local butcher shop. What's not to like?Better have an answer for, "what are you going to do with it?" Question from the team.”

“Awesome sandwich! Ordered online and it was ready on time - picked up the order and walked over to the king street station and enjoyed our lunch on the Amtrak train!! Great hack for heading out of town, have the Uber drop you at the sandwich spot, it's only a couple blocks from the station! Cubano and spicy salami sandwiches were delicious.”

“I absolutely love Bob's. I've been twice and both times had amazing staff help and amazing products! I used a smoked turkey leg in my collard greens and a boneless chuck roast for a stew. Prior to that I bought a lamb of rack from them. Always fantastic meat and flavor, my Texan heart feels warmed with their delicious offerings.”

“I live in Belltown, and I love coming down here for most of my weekly meat products. They have an amazing selection, good prices, and it’s a great experience buying from them every time. I cook often and it feels great to work with such consistently high quality ingredients.”

“Good place for hard to find gourmet ingredients. Has a great olive and cheese counter, though I can't say I peruse it too much. My only quibble is that moving to their current location meant that their merchandise footprint was reduced. There's definitely a few things I used to be able to find at their former location that didn't survive the move. Ah well. Still glad to have somewhere I can get specialty French, Italian, and German ingredients. They still carry Dutch licorice too, so that's something.”

“This review is strictly for the meat market side of the establishment. So many different cuts of meat and from the multiple times we've been here, everything has always been fresh and delicious. We always bring our own bag but when checking out we get charged 10 cents. Frustrating to correct that "error" repeatedly since we come here twice a month.”

“Love B&E! We buy a few strips of salmon candy at least once a week and they have every cut of meat you could think of and are super knowledgeable. Can be a little spendy (rack of lamb was ~$120) but I guess that’s the price you pay for great meat!”

“The owner was super friendly and VERY welcoming. He made us feel right at home. They not only sell genuine Mexican groceries and other products, they also sell the best, authentic Mexican food I have ever eaten. I had the Chile rellenos served with a side of amazing pinto beans and rice. I also had a guava pulp juice and a mango slushy served with tamarindo candy straw (TAJÍN included)! We will be back!!”

“They have several types of lemonades, and you can watch the preparation process. Very helpful staff, they will give answer for any of your question. You can also try donuts, which you will definitely want to buy later! In general, their specialty is German sausages, you can buy a pack or eat a sandwich.Nice place!”

“Don't let LB prices scare you away, this shop has the goods; some of the best cured meats I've ever eaten! Their aged Waygu Braesola is truly on another level and their house Copa is simple, pure and perfect. Still have a grass fed hangar steak to cook tonight and Sage breakfast sausage for the AM (full links for about $2 a piece!), but the cured stuff has redefined my standard for charcuterie lol, don't think I can do boars head pre-packs again when I can get a QP of either of these for around $10 and get 10x the flavor and care. Will be back for sure”

“been here a couple of times, come in from the north end of the street, pretty tight to get into the door and once in, your truck is hanging half way in the street, but it is doable. in out with in an hr both times”

“We stumbled upon this place last year on a road trip, fell in love with it! Great place for a quick drink (or beer), snack and hang. Really great options and great prices!! Very close to the stadiums, walking distance. We came back for a game and remembered how much we loved it here so we came an hour early before the game to hang out again. Wonderful selection of beer, wine, snacks etc”
