I recently dined at M Bar with a group of 13 others, and I am compelled to share our disappointing experience. Throughout the evening, the service fell significantly short of expectations. Our orders were inaccurately taken and delivered multiple times, with errors spanning both omissions and incorrect preparations. The quality of the food was equally unsatisfactory, as we encountered issues with steaks being both over and undercooked.Perhaps most disheartening was the response from the management. When we sought to address these concerns, we were met with a lack of empathy and attentiveness from the manager on duty. There was a palpable disinterest in addressing our dissatisfaction or in making any effort to rectify the situation.Dining out is as much about the experience as it is about the food, and on this occasion, M Bar failed to deliver on both fronts. It is my hope that this feedback serves as a constructive critique, prompting a re-evaluation of both customer service and culinary standards to ensure no other patrons endure a similar experience.

Arrived at 10:15 and sat down at the bar to get a drink. Were given waters and greeted by the bartender. Then a lady (assuming host or manager) came to us and asked us if we had checked in downstairs, didn’t realize you would have to do that to come get a drink and sit at the bar especially because there was no one downstairs to even talk to…she was rude and made us feel uncomfortable. She could’ve kindly explained why we were unable to order but instead was short and snarky. Also the closing time was 11 and everyone around us were eating and ordering drinks.

Friday night 10pm. Made our way up there, zero signage. Sat at the bar and were greeted by the bartender with water and then promptly told to leave by a less than gracious host even though they were open for another hour. Just tried to get a drink and they said no you guys will have to leave.

Stopped by for a drink and a view for the sunset the other night with my sister before we headed to dinner. We were seated at the corner of the bar rather quickly which was nice, since we didn't have reservations. The inside was decorated really well and the view was perfect. The reason for the 2 star review was the service from the bartender. I'm not vegan, but my sister is so she asked the bartender whether the espresso martini was vegan or not, meaning if there was any dairy or otherwise in the drink that she should know about. His response was super bizarre, saying that there's no way to know if any alcohol is truly made vegan or not and that she should be aware of that fact. After checking the website, it was clearly labeled vegan and animal cruelty free, meaning that the information for the alcohol they serve is definitely available, and the bartender was just making passive aggressive and untrue comments about the alcohol. I wasn't offended as a vegan, because I'm not one, I was offended at the audacity to talk to and treat a customer in that manner. Definitely won't be back because of that, and I highly recommend the restaurant to train their bartenders on how to deal with customers and different diet preferences. Adding a disclaimer to the menu would make it easier for everyone

Everything was superb. The food was unreal. Get the green chickpea hummus with mushrooms and prepare to be blown away. Bethany was a great server. Thank you.

This is one of my favorite spots in Seattle. The music it's always good to have dinner with drinks and enjoy a conversation. The views are great too. I'd definitely recommend this place.

First, let me say that I really wanted to love mbar, truly. But wow, I was severely disappointed. We made reservations for my birthday drinks and dessert after we’d done dinner with friends elsewhere. The service experience was sorely lacking- the employees seem like they all resent their jobs? The only one who seemed to be enjoying himself was a single bartender. The drinks were okay, but nothing to write home about and as pricy as you’d expect for a rooftop bar in Seattle. I don’t mind paying for quality, but their drinks weren’t it.We also ordered desserts and hummus plates for our table, and the portions were sadly small. As a bakery owner, I didn’t expect the flavor to be out of this world but I did expect more than a tasting bite on a dessert plate for almost $20. Disappointing.Their baklava had great flavor but you can find that at many bakeries in Seattle for $4-6. I know that the experience and the location raised the price, but when the service is lacking and the most enjoyable part OF the experience is the view? That’s not worth it. We won’t be back and we doubt our friends will be either.

Love these guys for inviting us with two glasses of champagne to celebrate our anniversary. It was a lovely gesture! We had a great time, had a couple of cocktails. I’m not sure if they were the best, but they gave is a good buzz that my husband and I had too much fun during the dinner. The hummus platter was simple and delicate and screamed quality! Loved them all. The pita bread here was the best I ever had fresh, soft and warm! Would definitely visit this place again. The place has a vibe!Vegetarian options: Good vegetarian options

It was a cool vibe with a private and discreet access. The staff were very nice but I was disappointed with the food quality. The Chicken wings were the driest I ever had. The old fashion was very average. The main dish was just ok.

I ordered Moscow mule drink and it was terrible! The bar tender was nice though. The other lady acted so unprofessional and she was so rude. Definitely don't go there again and don't recommend it. It was absolutely waste of money and time!

Mbar is such a gem in Seattle! The food and drinks are exquisite, with truly the best view in Seattle. I'm a big fan of supporting Middle Eastern restaurants so I'm glad they have such a great collection on their menu. Our waitress this time around was a little qwerky ans too direct for us, not really reading our body language and signs, but not a big deal. Everything else is always great !
