I had a great experience and was really impressed with Martinson Piano Moving. I will admit I was lucky with the delivery timing: I purchased a Yamaha Clavinova on Sunday, on Monday I got a call to schedule delivery for Wednesday. The delivery crew called at the beginning of the delivery window to let me know they were a few minutes out. (The previous delivery was in the same neighborhood.) Generally my dog is pretty terrified of large furniture and boxes moving around, but the guys brought the bench in first and took time to greet our pup. They each had a couple of doggie treats handy, so by the time they brought the unboxed and fully assembled piano through the house, our dog was happy to welcome our new instrument. Erik and Mike couldn't have been more friendly, knowledgeable and helpful with the piano setup and a quick orientation. I would definitely use Martinson Piano moving again. Patrick in Seattle

Update: I have to completely change my review! Martinson went above and beyond to fix the situation. They sent out a new team to pick up the piano, fixed the cracked leg, and returned it within one week. In all interactions, they were extremely respectful and apologetic. I appreciate businesses like this who do the right thing by their customers.Synopsis of original post:Martinson moved a family heirloom piano from Snohomish to Seattle today, and it arrived with a cracked leg. They told us "it was cracked", but did not tell my mother, who was at home in Snohomish when they picked it up, that it was cracked. At the very least, they should own up to their mistake and try to find some way to remedy the situation.

I’m sorry by accidentally touched the wrong spot of my new phone.Our music school has been using Martinson piano company for many years. We will continue use them in the future.We recommend them highly!

I am very impressed with how great Martinson Piano Moving was when they moved my old baby grand piano today. They handled my piano with care & were very professional. I was surprised how fast it took for them to get it to its new location. Something I didn't know & wish I had; they store pianos for only $65/month! That's so much less than renting a regular heated storage space!

Thank you to the entire Martinson crew for another great experience! Special thanks to Darren for managing that very tight elevator at the ID condo. We've moved pianos five times in the past several years with Martinson's. They are truly the best!

Wonderful crew we had the opportunity to work with. They took away our old upright and moved in our new baby grand. They worked with us on optimal piano placement and gave us tips for caring for our new piano. Would definitely recommend.

Submitted an online inquiry for an estimate and call back; never heard from the company. Called a few days later to follow up and get estimate, was told the my inquiry ended up in the spam folder. They said they were really busy and would get back to me. Waited several more days for an estimate, called and left a message and still no one ever called me back. I was referred to Martinson Piano Moving by several different people, I'm assuming they are good and very busy but it leaves a really bad taste in ones mouth, when you repeatedly reach out to a company, willing to throw $500+ dollars in their direction and they make NO effort to get back to you at all. All that said, I still never got a call back, its been weeks since reaching out to them. I ended up having to use a different company- Piano Moving Art and Piano Storage. They answered my calls and gave estimates right over the phone, to which I might add was significantly lower than other estimates I received, scheduled my move in the same phone call and delivered my baby grand in perfect condition. I would have happily used Martinson if they would have gotten back to me but their loss. Highly recommend the other company.

Nice crew, efficient service, excellent work! I have an up-right piano (weight more than 500 pounds) moved by them from the second floor. They carefully took care of the piano at each stair step. The whole moving completed smoothly and shortly than I expected, and reasonable and competitive charge. The interesting thing, I was told by the crew leader, he recalled they helped the delivery of the same piano at when I bought it 8 years ago. Two sharp turns of stair made them a deep impression, I definitely will ask them for the next move by their quality assurance.

Wow, great job! They were prompt, courteous and even advised on how to care for the piano in its new location. Provided a local tuner's information. It is great to see the two young men who worked alongside the uncle. Great attitudes and teamwork. Inspiring. Keep it up Martinson! I will be referring others to use your service for sure!

They are the best, even when bad things happen. With a steep incline and lots of steps, witnessing the Martinson team at work is like watching a ballet. They find the best route and make moving an old 800 pound upright or a new 7'4" grand look like a dance. When the unthinkable happens - a once-in-thirty-five-years piano destroying traffic accident - they handle it with sensitivity and care. When gifting my mother's old upright to a family was stymied by a traffic accident, Martinson committed to finding an equivalent piano so that the recipient still gets the gift of music. Plus Eric Martinson made time for my husband, sister and me to visit their warehouse to say good bye to our mother's piano. They get that pianos are part of the family. I trust them with precious cargo.

I had called in to see if they were able to move our record player system, they weren't able to because of licensing issues, but the wonderful woman on the other line was apologetic, explained why they couldn't and recommended a few other places I could try! If I get a piano in the future, I know who I will call.
