I made my first visit to Market Street Shoes yesterday, and I will absolutely be a repeat customer! I felt welcomed and attended to as soon as I walked in. I was surprised and excited to see that the shop also had a wonderfully curated clothing selection! I wear a US women’s 12-14; often, small shops like Market Street Shoes won’t have options for me. There ended up being plenty of colorful, fun garments for me to try on!When Kelsey saw I had my hands full of clothes, she was quick to start a dressing room while I kept browsing. After I’d been in the room for about 5-7 minutes, Danelle came over and asked how I was doing. I was trying on a dress that made me feel so beautiful. When I showed Danelle what I was trying on, she gave me a big smile and said, ‘I can tell you something looks great, but it really matters how you feel in it, and I can tell you feel really good. It looks made for you.’ When I was finished with clothes, a third shop attendant (who’s name I didn’t get, but she was wearing a wonderful 80s-inspired neon-punk jacket and awesome red triangle earrings) offered to keep the dress behind the counter while I kept shopping.Danelle continued to help me as I started to look at shoes. She was knowledgeable, kind, and gave me great options for the footwear needs I communicated with her! She also helped me figure out that, lo and behold, the reason I’ve been having foot pain is because I’ve been wearing the wrong shoe size! I have a wide toe box and have been compensating for that by sizing up at shoe stores. Danelle heat-widened a pair of adorable leather orange sandals for me. She was super quick when grabbing my size options from the back, and communicated with her team when the LAST pair of a shoe in my size was playing hard to get in the stockroom. It was great to see the team members supporting each other when the shop had a steady amount of traffic soon after opening!I ended up getting three new pairs of shoes. I started breaking in a pair yesterday, and my feet are already feeling so much happier! When checking out, Danelle made sure to get my basic info to start tracking by purchase history. She also let me know that after getting 12 full-price items, I get 25% off! After chatting with me at the counter while bagging my shoes and tissue-paper-wrapped dress, Danelle gave me a very warm farewell.I likely would’ve been a repeat customer because of the clothes and shoes, but I will DEFINITELY be returning because of the wonderful experience I had with Danelle and the rest of the Market Street Shoes staff. A big thank you to the whole team for the obvious care that is put in to every aspect of the shop. Cheers!

I had the pleasure to be assisted by Erik with selecting a pair of Hokas and Danskos . He was kind, patient and very knowledgeable about the best fit for my foot. He gave me his full attention. His customer service is stellar.

I stopped by Market Street Shoes earlier today to pick up a pair of Birkenstocks I'd had my eye on, and Sherry was an absolute delight. I mentioned I recently accepted a new job offer and was in need of some more business casual attire, and Sherry asked if I would consider looking at any of the clothing they had in stock. I'll admit I was a bit skeptical- as a plus sized person, a lot of smaller shops and boutiques cater only to more petite or straight sizing. However! I was able to walk out not only with my new shoes, but some very flattering and very nicely fitting tops and sweaters I could wear to the new job. Sherry was super friendly and personable, and it's clear she has a very good knowledge of what the store has in stock and its sizing. Thanks!!

I've always loved going into Market Street Shoes, especially after the Sunday Farmer's Market! I came in this week looking for relief from some worsening plantar fasciitis and was so thankful to have met Noel who was a treasure trove of incredible information on shoes, fit, sizing, arch support, and had great recommendations for me and my friend about what shoes she thought might work for us. The store was giving 20% of the proceeds from Black Friday sales all week to Labateyah Youth Home which is incredible, especially for such a small, family-owned business.I ended up getting supportive insoles, house slippers, and leather conditioner and am looking forward to going back in the future! 10/10 great store, and incredible customer service from Noel! Thanks so much, Market Street Shoes :)

I came here looking to buy my first pair of Birkenstocks! Sophia (I hope I spelled her name right) was super nice and helped me look for the right fit. She pulled out 6 pairs of varying sizes and widths for me to try and we ended up finding the right fit. Unfortunately it wasn't in a color that I would buy, so Sophia wrote down the exact style, size, and width we landed on and referred me to 2 other stores that might have it in stock. The service was great and I wouldn't hesitate to come back!

How happy am I to have shopped here instead of online? I got shoes I was super happy with, but over 2-3 weeks the breakin made it clear that I had gotten them too large. Zainab and Danelle were both super-helpful and clearly interested in me being super happy with my shoes. After trying some insoles (not the fix, but worth a try), Zaniab put the next two half sizes down on hold for me to try on and exchange later because they didn't have them on hand. They called me up, the new size is perfect, and it was a super great experience. They've definitely won my future shoe shopping business.

I really like the contents of this store but dread going in because the sales people are always circling like sharks and offering insincere advice. I wish they would back off so I could browse in peace. I might actually buy something!

Max with the Tokio Birks made my day! I really enjoyed his service and humor! He is a special guy that made deciding what Birks to buy very easy. He even asked if I had a wide foot cause Birks come in two fits - narrow and regular - who knew?! I walked out with the Tokio’s too and can’t wait to wear them around town! Thanks so much Max, you’re a gem!
