This is the place to go for the experience and quality clothing. It's what Nordstrom used to be.

Amazing salespeople, and wonderful clothes. Great sales on high end fashion. Wonderful selection of higher end jeans and denim-my very favorite place to shop when I am in Seattle.

Sean is a phenomenal stylist. He’s an expert at what he does, gives the best recommendation, and best of all, he’ll work with your budget. He won’t pressure you to go over it. Everything was on time as promised, and it looked fantastic. He’s very responsive, and even accommodated my last minute adjustment request, after I placed my order. And shoutout to Lana for the amazing tailoring.Everyone else at the store seemed friendly, and the store has a wide variety of items. No complaints at all

Mario's is one of the last great department stores left in the United States. My mom took me here years ago for a small item. I have come to learn over the years I really enjoy the customer experience along with the quality of the products. Would you buy 10 junkie shirts or one quality shirt that will last a very long time. Definitely I am a Mario's Man for life!

I walked up stairs to take a look at the christian louboutin shoes. No employee greeted me or offered to help. When I asked about different sizes or styles the middle aged woman who was at the desk literally told me to shop online. Like I wouldn't have came in person if I wanted to shop online??If I could do 0 stars over that whole treatment I would. I ended up leaving to Nordstrom and buying multiple pairs from there.

I normally would not think to review a boutique / store, but HOLY SMOKES! We spent all day shopping around Seattle at a mix of boutiques and bigger retailers; Mario's had by far the best customer service (and selection). Immediately upon walking in we were warmly greeted & encouraged to take our time to look around. As we moved to another section of the store, I asked a question to one of the women working. She immediately got the attention of who would soon become my favorite person in Seattle, Joan. Joan took such incredible care of me and my mom. She helped me find exactly what I was looking for. She also offered restaurant recommendations and phoned her friends that lived in a nearby town we would staying in to give the best advice possible. Thank you Mario's for truly providing a lux shopping experience with incredible personnel!

Went in to browse heels and the staff was beyond amazing. From the moment we entered the door to the time we left. April was the absolute BEST, even though they didn't have the heels I wanted in store, she answered all questions I had and helped me find my heel size. She even suggested other styles and designers I may like. Will be coming back!

Moved from Chicago a couple of years ago and really missed the upscale retail experience. Nordstrom is nice, but the service is too impersonal, and there is too much turnover with stylists from my experience. So for a while, I was just ordering nearly everything from Bergdorf (but returns can be pretty slow). I've probably spent around $15k/year just at Nordstrom for the past several years, except this year due to reasons above.Excited to shop more at Marios in the future after three visits! (Once I lose a bit more of that COVID weight.) Love the curation. Staff interactions have been very positive. Really appreciate being able to Reserve to try on and pick-up in store, which I've used extensively before with another upmarket retailer. So helpful on a busy schedule or if you get overwhelmed by so much selection.

Wow! What a first class experience from beginning to end. I used the Marios website to book a personal stylist appointment and ended up spending 6 whole hours shopping! We got some really stylish outfits, blazer, coat, jacket, shirts, trousers and several pairs of shoes. Alternations come free on all their items and the tailor is in-house and ready to fit you. So no separate appointment needed to get everything pinned to be taken in. Approximate turn around time on alterations was 1 week, very fast and they shipped these items to my house so I didn't have to make a separate trip back to the store to pick up the alterations. Very nice! My stylist was great. I tried on many different looks and chose some high quality pieces for my wardrobe. Marios also provided me with a lunch while I was shopping. Which was a much needed break from the shopping! I would definitely recommend anyone looking for a high end department store to come to Marios. This is the way luxury department stores used to be! Thanks to everyone. I will be back! PS Marios has impeccable security. A locked front door which security guard buzzes you in, and he stays posted at the entrance to filter out any criminal types (since downtown Seattle can be rough!) and the security guard will walk you to your vehicle when you leave with all your goodies too! PPS - after reading the low star reviews from other people I just want to say that Marios welcomes all people, all creeds, all nationalities, all income levels. Marios is the top high end department store in all of Seattle (think Louis Vuitton), they treat all their customers with care and respect. But customers should expect that Marios will be operating at a different level than say, Nordstroms. And this is a very good thing! Nordstroms is targeted to a different audience than Marios is. Thats the whole point! --And book an appointment in advance you guys! You'll get the posh treatment you desire! Honestly, I spent a lot of $ with Marios, but I also felt a little uncomfortable inside the store occasionally, but that was not because of the staff. I felt uncomfortable because I had never ventured in to a first class department store before. Where price tags are $1600, $3500+ for one item. Just know what you're getting yourself into ahead of time guys and gals. If spending $10,000+ terrifies you, then yes, you probably won't enjoy Marios. But don't blame the staff because you feel uncomfortable, it's your personal reaction to all the feelings and sensations thats causes your discomfort. Talk to the staff, approach someone. Tell them what you are looking for! --Everyone is welcome at Marios!

I'll never step foot in this store ever again. There was a time when Mario's was staffed by incredibly pretentious, unhelpful staff. That all changed when Mitchell Stores bought Marios in 2015. Since then, I've bought dozens of things from Mario's and up until recently, my experiences were generally good. Sadly, the store has really done a u-turn back to the old days. Recently, I stopped by the store to purchase a pair of designer sneakers. I stood around by the shoes for 15 minutes trying to catch the attention of a sales person. I knew my size, and what color I wanted to buy. I was ready to go - but no one even bothered to acknowledge my presence, much less ask me if I needed help. I proceeded upstairs to the women's department and asked for help up there, and they were happy to sell me my $500 sneakers. Fast forward three weeks, I opened the box to wear them for the first time and saw that they had a serious defect (a tear in the leather). I called the store and asked if they could replace them with a new pair and they agreed. The replacement pair was ordered from their San Francisco store and arrived a couple of days later. I went in to exchange my defective sneakers for new ones, and Bernardo refused to hand them over. He literally said "Marios cannot be held liable for this", and rudely told me to take them to a cobbler. Sadly, the shoes cannot be repaired (per the cobbler I took them to), and I'm stuck with a pair of $500 sneakers that I cant even wear. When these guys go out of business, I won't feel sorry for them.
