The clothes are great but the vibe in there… man. We weren’t greeted (but we were stared at lol) or asked if we needed any help. And my girlfriend and I walked out of there and both asked, wow did you feel judged? So there’s that. But good clothes!

Went to Marine Layer in August to buy some back-to-school clothes and the sales people were helpful, the store didn't smell like sweat, and I found some great clothes to wear.

Extremely soft clothing that are made more ethically made than most. High quality and subtly stylish clothing without much branding. The selection is limited but new designs drop a couple of times every season. Bring in 5 t-shirts to recycle and you will get a $25 credit to use that day or in the future.Doesn't hurt that the staff are helpful, very chill and friendly!

I have a pair of pants from Marine Layer that are awesome. I wanted to get another pair but they were sold out online. Olivia was super helpful and helped me track down two pairs/colors in separate states and get them ordered. Awesome customer service, thank you!

This is the very first review I've ever written about anywhere, but I was compelled. These are the most comfortable clothes I've ever worn. It's such a great concept. I want my clothes to fit and feel good first. They also have a genuinely wonderful and helpful staff. Will definitely be my first stop whenever I need new gear from now on.
