I had been a loyal Best Buy client for all appliance purchases for the last 15 years until this week. I purchased a washing machine and delivery/install was a complete debacle. After 3 scheduled installation appointments, that never resulted in the installation happening, I ordered online from Lowe’s.
My washer was delivered and installed in less than 24 hours from ordering.
Thank you Lowe’s for setting a new standard of customer service. I really appreciate how they got the job done. You have a new appliance customer.

Trying to get anything cut here is such a bigger pain than Home Depot
lol they couldn’t do a delivery either. They took the order and then on delivery day said they couldn’t charge the card. Tried three different cards and then customer service said I’d have to go to a store and maybe they could figure it out. I just canceled the whole thing what a mess.

Who doesn’t know Lowe’s? They’re getting better. Reasonable prices for pretty much anything except tools. Amazon is more competitive than Lowe’s or Home Depot for tools. Always comparison shop for prices.

I generally don’t like coming to this Lowe’s because of the surrounding area. Once in the store, it’s pretty quiet. Staff members are helpful, if you can find them. Most tools are locked up so it requires effort to track someone down to help you. Otherwise, they generally have decent prices for the items they do have in stock.

Chen was extremely helpful to me the other day! My truck battery died out in the parking lot, so I went inside to ask for someone to help me get it jumped. He directed me to exactly where I could get some jumper cables and it just so happened to be the end of his shift, so he clocked out, grabbed his car and parked next to my truck in the parking lot. Not only was he extremely patient with me while trying to jump start, but since we weren't successful in jumping it, he offered me a ride to the nearest Auto Shop to get a new battery, waited for me to get the right one, and drove me back to Lowe's free of charge! Chen, I cannot thank you enough for your endless generosity!!! You deserve a promotion! Seriously! You went way out of your way for me!!

Scary place. Often will see open solicitation in the parking lot. I find there customer service associates pretty rude too, had a bad experience there renting a carpet cleaner.

Everything that is needed for home improvement projects. They have more staff on the floor to help with questions or finding things. I don't really like that there is only self checkout, but the staff person that was there was nice enough to help out with scanning through a lot of stuff.
