Lovely, caring doctors, techs, and front desk staff. All of the veterinarians are clearly highly skilled and also love animals. Worth an hour of driving to see these folks.

Been going here for 9 years and they take great care of Abby and Lincoln and that is really the only thing that matters! Referrals to specialists when needed and terrific follow up. Lots of treats and loves when we go!

STAY AWAY FOR YOUR SANITY.
> I recently moved to the area and wanted to establish care for my two dogs. The appointment took nearly 3 hours — most of which was waiting, and for unclear reasons.
> The clinic incorrectly prescribed my dog’s blood pressure medicine and over the course of two weeks and repeated phone calls were unable to correctly re-prescribe the medicine for me. On my most recent phone call, all the clinic manager wanted to discuss was my tone — not their incompetence.
I have physically visited this clinic only once, but I now realize I was there two times that day: the first time and the last time.

There is no communication between the team. Every time you go in you start over. You make an appointment a month from now and they text you a confirmation yet they lost the time of the appointment and now they don’t have the medication in. After 9 years we are finding a different vet.

Dr. Chan is the best. She’s been so helpful as our family navigates life with our senior pup. She always goes above and beyond with thoughtful recommendations and answers to our questions and the great team at the front desk has been amazing helping to fill her medications as we travel. We love Lake Union Vet ❤️

I have been with this clinic for 5 years with 2 cats and 1 dog. For routine health exam when all of my pets are healthy, they seem to be fine until earlier this year one of my cat experienced significant weight loss, constant vomit and diarrhea. They made an appointment for me immediately, did all of the bloodwork and health exams and told me there would be no issues. I was given some prescription cat food and paid $600+ for the exam.
After a couple of weeks the situation didn’t improve at all and I switched to Greenwood animal hospital after reading positive online feedback. The first health exam they told me my cat is suspected to have lymphoma. They immediately scheduled ultrasonic test and biopsies and now it is confirmed. Luckily I was referred to oncology specialist and my cat started chemotherapy before it is too late.
I would never come back to this clinic any more as they just lack the knowledge for more complex diseases.

My cat was peeing blood and I was freaking out about it. The staff were all super friendly and helpful, and helped me be cost-effective and now my cat is doing great! (Just with a change of diet)

The veterinary team at LUVC have been taking great care of my cats. Appointments are often available within a few days and the vets and front desk staff are very friendly and professional. I feel my boys are in good hands when we visit.

I took my cat, Mr. Mojito, here to establish care and get his annual check up. The front desk staff were so kind and welcoming to him and myself. My cat has a lot of fear going to the vet and typically does not do well with being touched below his neck. However, Dr. Galloway and his assistant were so gentle with him he didn’t even make a peep during his exam or vaccines. It was an overall great experience for my cat and I am so grateful to have found a new veterinarian for him. Highly recommend!

I appreciate that they try and accommodate last minute/emergency requests, and are open on Saturdays and until 6pm on weekdays.
