I highly recommend working with Lake Union Movers. They were so kind, professional, and positive. I was shocked at how efficient they were, especially considering I was moving out of a 3 story walk-up apartment. Hanna, Forest, and the whole Team was awesome to work with. Will definitely be recommending them to all of our friends going forward.

I recently had a long distance move from Seattle to California and was so happy to have Lake Union Movers for the move! Throughout the whole process, they provided excellent and transparent communication, which was especially important to me with pricing and timing. They took such good care with my boxes and furniture that I never had to worry about anything being damaged on drop off day. Even moving with a newborn baby, it was the easiest, most efficient, and least stressful moving experience I’ve ever had! HUGE thank you to Lake Union Movers for this move!!!

We moved two states with, due to our schedules, limited ability to provide instruction or oversight in the moving process and we could not have found a better company than Lake Union Movers! From start to finish they were communicative, kind, professional, and so so helpful. It was obvious that they treated our items like their own and we were happy with the care and attention they gave to packing, labeling, and organizing our home. For reference we moved a 3br, 3-story house from Seattle to Sacramento, CA.

I recently had the pleasure of using Lake Union Movers, LLC for my relocation from Seattle to San Francisco, and I must say, they exceeded all my expectations. From the very beginning, their customer service was outstanding. They were not only prompt in responding to my queries but also thorough in explaining the entire moving process.The moving team arrived right on time on the scheduled day. Each member was professional, courteous, and incredibly efficient. They took great care in packing all my belongings, paying special attention to the fragile items. I was particularly impressed by their organization skills and the way they managed to make the most of the space in the moving truck.Throughout the journey, Forest kept us updated about his progress, which was very reassuring. Upon arrival in San Francisco, they were just as efficient in unloading and unpacking my items. Everything arrived in perfect condition, without a single scratch or damage.The pricing was transparent, and there were no hidden charges. I was very pleased with the overall cost, considering the high level of service provided.I cannot recommend Lake Union Movers enough for anyone looking to have a stress-free and smooth moving experience. Their professionalism, efficiency, and customer care are top-notch. They truly made my long-distance move as seamless and comfortable as possible. A big thank you to the entire team!

Cannot recommend this group enough! Researched a ton of movers for our move from Seattle to Denver before selecting Lake Union Movers. Every step was easy. Kayla came out and did a walk through and was extremely communicative via text and over the phone to answer my many questions. Each step of the process the team was friendly and professional. They packed us up, drove to Denver, and unloaded. Joe delivered on the first day of the delivery window and the price was lower than the estimate! They were kind enough to wait a bit at our house while our contractor got all his stuff out of the way. Everything was packed well and organized. Again communication during the whole drive regarding delivery day and time was great. Honestly, do yourself a favor and go with this company if you want your move to be stress free!

Worth every penny!! The team of three helped me move out of my storage shed and former residence into my new home. They arrived early, were super efficient, and were friendly and professional throughout. They even helped me decide where to place my furniture! Super grateful for the easier part of a stressful move.

We just finished our move with Lake Union Movers and are very happy with our decision to go with them. Joe did a great job of stopping by to take an inventory of our items, asking questions and estimating the job. We actually got several other quotes and Lake Union Movers was one of the few who provided a fixed cost binding estimate. This was important for us to avoid any "surprise" extra costs.Everyone at Lake Union from Joe, Kayla, Forest and crew were great to work with every step of the way. The move went smoothly from loading to unloading with attention to detail and professionalism. All around great family business that we'd highly recommend to anyone looking for a smooth moving experience.

We really appreciated the responsiveness and guidance in the planning of our move. The day of the move the truck showed up on time and the staff was very courteous and professional. They made sure we were satisfied with every aspect of the move from handling our antique grandfather clock to placing everything where we wanted it to go. SUPERB Moving Company ~ Above & Beyond Service from Start to FinishWe were absolutely floored by the professionalism, amazing efficiency, and unparalleled work ethic of Lake Union Movers each stage of this move.It was literally a pleasure to see the crew’s expertise and teamwork in action ~ everything went like clockwork. The truck arrived exactly on schedule, each crew member briefly introduced himself with genuine courtesy (a refreshing rarity these days!), and then the crew set straight to work, not once slowing down as they moved some items to another storage unit and others onto the truck. We were so impressed at how many boxes they stacked on each dolly run and that every item was handled with care and obvious know-how, including a huge heirloom grandfather clock they expertly maneuvered, double-checking that the inner workings had been safely removed for the transport. And they even took the initiative to remove and separately wrap each glass fixture and lightbulb from every lamp, something we’d never considered.On the unloading end, we again saw great organization, communication, and attention to detail ~ the crew was so considerate, consistently checking to make sure boxes were correctly sorted by room, that heavy boxes were put within easy access, that furniture was positioned as desired, feet securely put back on the couches, etc. Not a scratch to anything, and all done by outstandingly nice workers (who get bonus points in our book for 100% clean language). And as if they weren’t impressive enough, at day’s end a sharp-eyed crew member noticed a small metal pin on the truck bed, and instead of tossing it as most people would, he turned it into the office. It turned out to be part of a lamp from our move, and it was HAND DELIVERED to us the next day! Talk about going the extra mile!I love supporting quality businesses, especially local, family-run ones like this company, and if I could, I’d give Lake Union Movers 10 stars. They say that moving is one of the most stressful things you can do, and this team wiped away 95% of that moving anxiety in just a few hours with their speed, kindness, empathy, and professional tetris-ing. We were worried that it wouldn’t all fit in the pod, but Cisco and Mario used all the available space up to the ceiling and were so fast it blew my mind. Would DEFINITELY recommend this team.
