The ONLY person working here is a saint. Apparently LabCorp can't afford to hire more than one person. I think my dog has better access to lab work than I do. Morning appointment wasn't available for several weeks (if fasting), so forced to walk in and wait. Hopefully I don't pass out.

DO NOT GO HERE. There was only one person working and a full waiting room of people. I had to wait 25 minutes past my appointment time to be put in a room where I waited another 5 minutes for the phlebotomist. It hurt when she put the needle in and then she moved it around and that hurt more and I was wincing so she took it out without asking or telling me. It was still hurting after she removed the needle and she told me there’s no nerve there so if it still hurts after the needle is out it’s just anxiety WHICH ISN’T TRUE, there’s a nerve right under where she inserted the needle. She said she could try my other arm or my hand or I could come back another day. I waited almost 2 weeks for this appointment and fasted so I asked for a minute to think about it and then I passed out which has never happened to me from a blood draw before. I was disoriented when I woke up and she was not nice or comforting and I had to ask for an ice pack and to recline the chair. She then left me alone in the room and didn’t check on me once. It took me about 30 minutes to regain the ability to stand without feeling faint. She was unprofessional and bad at her job. She complained to multiple patients about how overworked she is and how understaffed the clinic is, loud enough for the entire waiting room to hear. She left all doors open so there was no privacy and it made me very uncomfortable that everyone could hear what was happening. I did not feel confident in her ability to properly take my blood so I was forced to leave without giving a sample. Her name was Kim Smith and it was the northgate location. My arm hurt for 10 hours after she stabbed me and is still a little sore 28 hours later. This experience traumatized me and I will never return to this location, and hopefully no other labcorp location. Corporate needs to properly staff their clinics and increase their hiring standards.

One person running the front desk and drawing blood. Each patient is taking about 15 minutes. I've been here for 45 minutes and only 3 people have been called back. Why on earth they wouldn't staff more than one person is beyond me. One person has already walked out after waiting an hour with no end in sight. After numerous terrible reviews, you'd think management would take the hint and find a solution.

Expect to wait an hour and a half with an appointment and we'll over two hours without an appointment. They just could care less. I was sent here after being told this location had been quiet and could definitely see me. Huge mistake. At least it doesn't look like a third world country like some Lab Corps. Do better Swedish & Providence! It's time to cut ties with Labcorp and add a competent lab option for your patients!

Dear Lab Owner,I have a chronic illness that requires frequent routine blood draws. I was a big fan of the Edmonds location because they were friendly, quick, good at painless draws and there was never much of a wait. I was sad to hear that lab closed. I have now read numerous reviews for several locations in search of a good lab to use. There are sporadic good ones, but mostly negative. The staff is cranky, waits are long, paperwork gets lost and there are no appointments available for weeks. I used to be able to get an appointment within a day or two. It sounds to me like cutbacks are creating the problems I previously stated. I get that Labcorp is one of the largest clinical lab networks in the world and worth billions, but wouldn't it make more sense to provide a good service rather to apologize to so MANY customers? That must be frustrating for you. Maybe you can share these concerns up the chain and see if anyone cares. I know this msg will not do anything, but I felt like venting just the same.Thank you for listening. ?Susan Burke

I had a great experience getting my blood draw at this location today. The staff, I believe her name was Anitra, was super kind and good at her job. She got my blood on her first try, it was painless and quick. I’m satisfied with the service and will use this place again!

Horrible experience! Never going back. Only one person running front desk and doing blood draws. She was quite rude and seemed annoyed with my questions. I had an appointment and still waited for 45 minutes! The last straw? My provider only received HALF of my lab work. I have to go back for a blood draw AGAIN! Won't be at Labcorps

Absolutely impossible to get in contact with. Called multiple times at different hours on different days attempting to ask a couple questions before scheduling an appointment. Left multiple voicemails and never heard back. They also make you print their paperwork for them? I've never encountered or heard of a place that requires that. So even before I've managed to get into the place I've already had to spend money getting a print out for them. I decided to just show up. The only check-in options are filthy kiosks in a room crowded with people and apparently no mask requirement. The conversations had with patients are also audible from down the hall. So that's a privacy concern. Or it would be if there was an actual appointment happening. When I arrived to a nearly full waiting room the one person who seems to work there was talking about daily life nothings down the hall for at least the first twenty minutes I was there instead of getting through any amount of patients. When I asked about the wait time I got a snippy "you could make an appointment" and a similiar response when I said I had tried multiple times to do exactly that. The waiting room also has really loud phone alarm music constantly playing so prepare to print their paperwork, wait forever, and leave with a migraine.

After a decade of regular blood draws, this was the single worst experience I've ever had. Harried, inefficient front desk person, oblivious and rude phlebotomist who wouldn't/couldn't take my blood, so the front desk person had to do it, however they couldn't manage to find a vein and were very shaky, though I have great veins. I was worried about infection risk because the person was touching everything after they put gloves on, including their face and hair (were they even trained for this?). Bloody gauze on the ground etc. Both of my arms were bruised afterwards and I have literally never had anyone miss a vein. I miss Kristin.

This LabCorp location was fantastic! When I arrived there was only one person working, who did both the check-in and the testing, but she was super-efficient. There were 5 people ahead of me. The self-check in seemed to have worked for everyone, and so she just had to verify the lab orders. She checked everyone in, then took us back in groups. The blood draw itself was painless and quick. Another employee arrived while I was there, which made everything even more efficient. Great attitudes - helpful, friendly. So different from the other LabCorp site I usually go to. I didn’t have an appointment and the whole process probably took 30 minutes. Total yes to this location.

There’s only one person working both the front desk and blood draws, so it takes forever to get through your appointment. Definitely understaffed. I’m not sure why there isn’t a dedicated technician here for blood draws & testing, it seems uncharacteristic for the receptionist to be handling that side of the business. Would not recommend or schedule at this location again.

Being told it would be an hour wait despite having an appointment for *fasting* labs in a hot room full of people is ridiculous. I've never had that kind of experience at any other location. While I understand the employees aren't at fault, the organization and/or manager needs to create better staffing practices. I absolutely will not be back.

Only one person was working here and the waiting room was full of people waiting. Even the simplest tasks at the front desk seemed to take a long time. I'm not confident tests are being done correctly from what I saw.

If I could give this place no stars I would. The workers couldn’t even properly read my doctor’s order which had clear instructions on the blood work I needed done. They had no saved records of my doctor’s order and offered no apologies and simply told me to go figure things out with my doctor lol. Not to mention the first time I came, the staff member assisting me asked me to look at my doctor’s order to “make sure they didn’t miss anything on it.” As if I’m supposed to know what anything on that paper means… Incompetent staff and the atmosphere isn’t welcoming at all. Taking my business elsewhere and you should too.
