They’ve gone down to one staff member in the mornings. This person is supposed to run the front desk and draw blood. It’s ridiculous. Line of people waiting and only one person there.

They are good when they're open, half the walk-ins i stopped in and they were closed. Don't make an appointment, they don't honor them, you sit with everyone else regardless. All the phlebotomists are generally good and results come in quickly.

Terrible experience. I tried calling three different locations to find out if they had the lab orders from my doctor. I didn't receive a call back from any of the locations. I finally drove to one of the sites during their scheduled business hours. There was no staff to check you in or answer questions. It was an automated checkin process via a machine. I waited with 15 other people for 45 minutes until a building manager came by to tell us they decided to close for the day with no notice. Even those who had scheduled appointments received no notice. I then drove to another site. Again, automated checkin with nobody to answer questions. Again, around 15 people waiting. Finally a lab technician came out of the back room so I knew the place was at least open. Still didn't know if they had the information from my doctor for the test. A person ahead of me was told the info wasn't there after waiting for over an hour. The lab technician was the only person working and was busy so he didn't have time to answer questions. The whole experience took three and a half hours. Unfortunately this is the lab Swedish uses so I didn't have a choice.

That guy Alan is cheerful and very knowledgeable about lab stuff. His skills in drawing blood are considerable and he is very kind. Alan is also really good at dealing with large crowds of people waiting for service.

I also had a very poor experience at this Swedish Labcorp location. I had made an appointment online, checked in on the automated kiosk and still waited for an hour before leaving having no idea how much longer I would have to wait to get my blood drawn. The older guy working the desk was gruff with everyone. The poorly designed room could have more chairs..many people were standing or sitting on the floor waiting.

Impossible to get your blood work done. I live in Seattle and my doc sent orders for me to get blood work done at 1101 Madison. I tried to book an appointment on their website but was unable to do this so following the LabCorps statement "drop-ins welcome" I went to the location; however, it was closed to me because I am not a Pac Med patient. This lab sent me to the lab in the Nordstrom tower. This is a small office with ONE employee and four chairs in the waiting room. With 7 people ahead of me and the one employee on the telephone for 30 minutes, after waiting one hour, I decided to leave ( I had been fasting) and go home and try again. I tried to book an appointment online, but their website offered me appointments in Port Orchard WA or in New York City, even though I had entered my Seattle zip code. Lab Corps needs to get a lot fixed in their broken systems.

I have been to this lab several times and always had great service. Today, the lab was super busy and there was only one staff member due to another team member calling out. This gentleman handled the flood of patients with calmness, patience, and care. This same gentleman had drawn blood on my 12 year old back in June and gave her a great first experience. I noticed in the waiting room that many people walk in and expect immediate service and get snappy with a wait. If you are one of those types, please schedule an appointment! What I like about this particular employee is that under pressure, being flooded with patients, and doing the work of 2 employees, he remained careful, calm, and polite. Thanks!

If I could give zero stars I would. It took an hour and a half to be seen while one tech was drawing blood and one was checking people in and drawing blood. This man was an older gentleman and was extremely rude to everyone that walked in. My wife got called back and the man couldn’t get any blood out after stabbing her 10 times and trying to say it’s because she doesn’t drink water blah blah blah. Well she had an iv put in earlier that morning just fine. This man needs to learn some customer service and actually phlebotomy skills or be fired. Forgot to mention that this happened with the same guy last month.

Due to other reviews was a little wary but my experience was quick, easy, and painless draw. Made my appointment online, the reminder says check in 15mins ahead which I did by phone, when parking and made my way into Swedish. I was out in 15 minutes.

I had a different experience than the other reviewers. It probably depends on when you go! I was there on a Friday around 2:30 pm as a walk in (no appointment). One person ahead of me. I registered using the kiosk. One person arrived after me. I was in and out in under 30 minutes. Techs were nice and skilled (I can be a hard stick but they got it on the first try with no digging). Maybe call before you go to see how busy they are?

The receptionist here should not be allowed near patients. Please be careful when you bring a loved one here, if possible go somewhere else. I’m trying to find a way to lodge a complaint.

I don’t enjoy waiting 45min after checking in for an quick nasal swab. The inefficiency is breathtaking.
