We love Kiddie Academy! We were lucky enough to get a place for our daughter at 4 months, and I feel confident that we will be there for the long haul. What makes KA stand out:
1) Teachers and Staff: One of the biggest ways that KA stands out are the fabulous people who work there. The teachers and support staff are excellent, and it is so clear how much they put into their work. You can really see how much they love and appreciate each kid. It's heartwarming as a parent to see your child learn and grow in that kind of an environment. Debbie, the director, is also fantastic. She is experienced educator who absolutely knows what she is doing, and as a result, this KA location runs like clockwork. She gave my husband and I confidence that this would be a great place from the first meeting.
2) Communication: The way the school handles communication with parents is top notch. Every week we receive a newsletter from Debbie with a recap of the week and upcoming events. We also receive newsletters from our daughter's teachers, as well as daily recaps with photos, videos and summaries of what she ate, diaper changes and medicines administered. On top of all that, they will also send text alerts with timely information, like reminders to register for photo day.
3) Cameras: There are cameras in your child's classroom and on the playground, and so you can watch your kiddo during the day.
4) Location: This is a great location for anyone working in downtown Seattle. It's right off of 99, and about a two minute drive to the Seattle Center.
5) Food: The food provided at KA is healthy and varied. They also encourage parents to share recipes from their cultures to incorporate in the menu.
We feel very lucky to have a place for our daughter here, and we look forward to many more years at KA Queen Anne!

My child have been attending Kiddie Academy for almost 5 years, since 2.5 month old. We feel incredibly lucky to have this school in our neighborhood and that we have been part of this community for all this years. The teachers are wonderful, the staff is wonderful, it really shows every day that they truly love the kids. I don't know where they get all their energy and patience, but everyone greets us with a smile every single day.
The school handled pandemic as gracefully as it probably was possible. They pulled off the miracle of staying open and maintaining their high standards throughout that challenging time. I heard sad stories about other school, but I have nothing like that to tell about Kiddie Academy. It was all smooth operation from our point of view.
They have so many different activities all the time for the kids. Our child has learnt both science and had lot of opportunities to express his artistic side. Everything is play-based and he really loves going to school. The school also makes a great effort to offer extra classes from outside teachers: music, dance, athletics, and kids love it. Special call out about food quality! My child tells me that he eats veggies and plain yogurt, and he loves it! And I didn't even have to go through troubles of introducing him to healthy foods myself. Last but not least, I didn't expect us as parents to find new friends at school, but we did. We really connected with other families, and it has been a lot of fun for us too to attend all the birthday parties and playdates. It is truly a community of very nice and caring people.

My daughter started at Kiddie Academy (QA) when she was 14 months, and it was our first daycare experience. KA was excellent in the intake process - lots of clarity, helpful tips, and support for both child and parent adjustment to the care experience. KA is organized and provides a dynamic schedule, giving the children meaningful indoor and outdoor time every day. My daughter has loved all of her teachers and comes home happy every day. Her teachers really care for her, and she has learned so many new skills over the past 8 months. Another big plus is the reliable webcam view of the classroom and playground areas. Overall, KAQA has established a welcoming and kind community, and we always know we're leaving her in good hands.

Lucky enough to enroll my 7mo old infant in this program. I feel fortunate to have great care for my child, open communication and overall feel confident in where I’m leaving my child. Love the live cameras and daily reports with pictures! Don’t let Seattle waitlists scare you, take a tour and see if this program is a good fit for your family!

Our son started at Kiddie Academy when he was 1 years old and stayed for 10 months, when we moved to a different state. We LOVED Kiddie Academy. The teachers were all so sweet and caring. The staff were very accommodating, understanding, and communicative. We HIGHLY recommend Kiddie Academy! One of the saddest parts of moving states was leaving Kiddie Academy.

Warm and friendly staff. Good care of the kids with strong safety standards and healthy meals. Outdoor playtime in their own play yard is great. Appreciate the camera feed into classroom activities too. We are very happy with kiddie academy!

I’d highly recommend Kiddie Academy-Queen Anne. My daughter has been going there since she was 4 months old and is now graduating from pre-k at 5 1/2 years old. We have had the best experience at Kiddie Academy and feel so lucky to have gotten in there early on. Some things we’ve loved: 1) cameras to check in on her throughout the day. This really gave us peace of mind especially when she was an infant. 2) healthy provided meals which helped our daughter learn to try (and enjoy) all kinds of food. 3) Classroom changes ~ every 6 months to align with developmental changes early on. 4) Caring and engaged staff. Many of the staff have been consistent since we began at kiddie academy including the director (Debbie) who really puts her heart and soul into making sure things are running smoothly. 5) Clean and efficiently run. quick adaptation to new protocols while staying open the entire pandemic.

Debbie and her staff do a wonderful job with the babies and children under their care. I had my two kids there from 3 months to 4 years, and Kiddie Academy provided a near perfect experience. Even with the pandemic and other challenges over the years, they managed it fantastically and the kids are always treated exactly the way you expect.

We love Kiddie Academy!A few reasons that make it stand out from other daycares:* Large, new outdoor play spaces to get these Seattle kids enjoying sunny weather* Several low-key parent connect events at the school (holi celebration) and in the area (pumpkin patch, tulips, etc) that have helped foster a fun parent community* Meals prepared by the school* In-room cameras and daily pictures to keep an eye on the kiddos* Supportive, caring, low-turnover staff and teachers who go above and beyond to love on our kiddosIt's $$$, but in-line with other options in the area and you get what you pay for!Note: Most negative reviews are from neighbors complaining about drop-off/pick-up crowding their neighborhood. I get it, that would be annoying. We do pick-up by e-bike to avoid some of the chaos!

Kiddie Academy of QA is most caring with my child. It is a place with high standards for safety, a nurturing environment, and a high quality learning and activity program. I love the focus on emotional development. Staff are all very loving and clearly love their jobs. I love the in room cameras to check in on my child during the day. All meals are provided, even breakfast, which means I don't have to pack anything but a water bottle. Debbie, is a great and capable director in charge of this center. Can't say enough great things about this daycare. It is so much more than simply a daycare....

Our 18-month-old is currently enrolled, and we’ve been very pleased. Teachers in particular are wonderful. Parking for drop off and pick up at peak hours can be a hassle because street parking is limited and there are only five parking spots in the lot, but parents handle it well and treat each other kindly.Edit: I’m not surprised to see that all negative reviews come from neighbors rather than from KA families. Completely understand why loud recess and standstill traffic would be frustrating for those next door.

Absolutely loved our time at Kiddie Academy. We've moved a lot so had to go to three daycares in two years (including many of Seattle's most expensive...), and our son has never transitioned so well and so quickly into a school. The teachers and entire staff are not only professional and dedicated, but provide the warmth and affection that makes young kid comfortable. Debbie runs a tight ship. Front desk staff are always full of smiles. We love our end of day reports and pictures, and the live-streaming videos so we can check on our son during the day. Miss Jamie and Miss Belle in toddler class are the best! If we didn't live a 50 min commute away we would have stayed!

As a parent, we have been very happy with Kiddie Academy of Seattle. The team here puts the needs of the child ahead of everything else - and it gives us great comfort in knowing our child is in good hands. Their curriculum is the right balance between being structured and at the same time flexible to the needs of a specific child.

We moved recently from India and literally son went to school for only 6-7 months .Stuck at home due to COvid - we felt he was missing interactions at school etc. Right from first day he adored school and we can literally see transformation that he communicates way better , is a way more confident kid.School has a large role to play in this ,. Be it the steady discipline , taking amazing care of him and best part was the two way communication.Highly recommend!
