Sent email about my recent review to Jiffy Lube. Hope the owner replies. After driving my car off lot, multiple problems appeared. I will wait for a reply before I give clear update on my car.

This Jiffy Lube change their policy, you need to get out of your car and stay in the office. They need a coffee station and need to crank up the heat - its wintertime - if we are to leave our cars. The employees were very, very nice and helpful. Employees were professional, patient and thoughtful - even though they were 1/2 crew short (that would be naturally stressful). The employees agree a coffee station would be awesome. Those are the perks to ensure you have a full crew and half just don't bone out on their shift. I've used other Jiffy Lubes, like in Bellevue, and they let you stay in your car. I'll give West Seattle Jiffy Lube another try (I like the employees) in 3 months and see what's what. No coffee and the office (an empty room with some chairs) is still uncomfy, then management is basically asking us to go elsewhere with our business without actually saying it.

Poor poor poor customer service. I pulled in expecting to drive myself into the empty oil change bay and after 8 minutes the gentleman with the beard and tattoo's comes back to my vehicle and tells me he was waiting inside at the computer for me to get the oil change process started. I reminded him he didn't communicate that with me and in all the other visits I've made here (20+) I've always pulled in my vehicle myself. He said something about customers not responding to his hand signals and almost getting run over so he won't be allowing customers to drive in anymore. That's great but at the least you have to communicate that to your customers who aren't aware of that new policy. It's hard to believe that Jiffy Lube doesn't equip their employees with the basic fundamentals of customer service. And leave your attitudes at home, there are too many other oil change shops to choose from.

Friendly service even in the bitter cold. These guys had every reason to be in bad moods, but they were so kind and helpful. The corporate office really should be supplying them with hot beverages and hand warmers in this weather.

Excellent service--had my brakes done, and got an oil change, along with new air filter. I do always feel the associates ALWAYS recommend getting new air filters. Sitting in the waiting area for 2 1/2 hours, literally every customer was told they needed new air filters. But--no appt needed, got in and out easily. Highly recomended.

I would like to speak with a manager/supervisor about the service I received for my car and the treatment I received from Steve at the West Seattle Jiffy Lube (4000 SW Alaska St, Seattle, WA 98116) on Monday, November 27, 2023. I arrived at the Jiffy Lube parking lot at 4:30pm, and waited in my car for 30-45 minutes in the parking lot, as there was a line. When I finally pulled up to the bay, Steve told me to get out of the car and he signed me in. I had a coupon which I showed him, but he refused it and he said that he would process the coupon after the oil change when I checked out. Then I went to the lobby to wait for my car to get serviced. By the time my car was ready it was after 6:00pm, so Steve was visibly hassled and rushed to get me out of there (I think Jiffy Lube closes at 6pm?). As I got into my car (I was still on the premises!) I realized that in his rush to hustle me out the door, Steve had not applied my coupon to the cost of my oil change. So I went back to Steve and said that I needed to have him apply the coupon credit back to my credit card. Steve then became aggressive and belligerent saying that it was too late, I had already walked away, and he doesn't have time to do that. I explained that I had just walked 200 feet, and he had already promised when I first showed him my coupon, that he would apply the coupon at the end of the transaction. I had my phone out with the coupon on it and I was trying to show it to him but he kept arguing with me and making excuses for not simply taking a few seconds to credit me for the coupon, which I had already asked about when I first arrived. He started yelling at me and interrupting me and cutting me off and telling me to stop talking. He also made disparaging remarks to me, saying things like "You people are all the same" (you people??), and making personal remarks about people from West Seattle! He was just way out of line and was not only being unprofessional, but he was being hateful and verbally violent. There was another customer standing next to me who also had an issue because Steve had given him the bill for someone else's car. Steve was livid by now, stomping around, and shoving papers and throwing things around, saying we were making him late and he just wanted to get out of there. This was not my problem, it was his job to resolve issues and finish all transactions with the customers. When I asked to speak to a Supervisor he ignored me and when I asked him what his name was he flat out refused to tell me--twice. I asked him again to tell me his name and he aggressively said, "No!". He also informed me that he was about to quit anyway (sooo ...it didn't matter what his name was...?). He finally agreed to process my coupon, but not before grabbing my receipt, crumpling it up, and throwing it at me! While he was in the other office, I went over to another employee and asked him to tell me Steve's name, which he did (he said he didn't know Steve's last name). That is the only reason why I know Steve's name and his first name only. I was literally shaking as I exited the store. If you need to confirm which employee I am referring to, you have the date and time that I was there (above), but here is a physical description of Steve: He had dark brown hair and a beard, many tattoos, and a gage in his ear.He may have already quit by now, as he was indicating he would, but he is definitely not someone who is a good ambassador for Jiffy Lube and he is someone who has shown the potential to be aggressive and violent with customers.Jiffy Lube needs to be concerned about how poorly one of their customers was treated by an employee! I hope that Jiffy Lube takes this complaint seriously and shows some concern for the respect and safety of the customers they are supposed to serve.

Ulysses is an exceptional leader at this location. He gave me confidence in services recommended and got it done more quickly than promised and at a price point I considered a value...give him a raise.

On Saturday my "Check Engine" light came on with the note "Oil Change Required" so I took my car to Jiffy Lube on Monday. My car wouldn't turn on in the parking lot. Jessie did an excellent job diagnosing the issue, thank you for taking the time when you did not have to! I have been coming to this location for service for years and they are always smart and professional. Great job team!

Apparently there was a change that now requires customers going to this location to wait outside the vehicle. The waiting room was well over 80 degrees so, you had to keep going outside. The whole point of the service is to allow you to remain in your vehicle while the service is performed, and at this location it is no longer the case. So if you go here, expect to be asked to leave the vehicle.

The person who helped me was great. I recommend to add a tip option to the card machine so I can tip the person who facilitated my service. I would love to tip them. Thank you for your consideration.Services: Air & cabin filter replacement
