Very disappointed in the shaming. Sorry that my taxes weren't easy to file this year. I apologize for the last minute filing, but the unprofessional help on how to move forward was unexpected. Kay was not helpful in how to proceed with filing for investments and did not return any of my requests for help post filing. This H&R Block will not help you if things go wrong on their end and will not help you with errors. They clearly work for the IRS and not the tax filer. Not using them again. I had to educate myself on tax law and how to move forward. Crappy experience.

Sandra was able to provide prompt and efficient tax preparation services. Education was provided on tax filing requirements, how to determine if estimated taxes may need to be done, upcoming changes, and other helpful details. Would recommend highly.

Our accountant that we usually use was not returning our phone calls. We called H&R Block. They got us in the same day which was amazing in itself. Then we me with Rue. She was funny, knowledgeable, and a great accountant to work with. Our taxes were done in an hour! The fee was 1/3 of what we normally have spent. We will definitely use her again next year!

Made the switch from doing taxes myself to getting them done with H&R block and will never go back! Took all of 30 minutes of my time from drop off to filing this year. So. Worth. It!

Taxes are confusing, and I had a weird year last year. I needed guidance and H&R block had my back. I worked with Maureen and I can not recommend her enough! I feel like I have the info I need to do my taxes on my own next year, and her customer service and care was second to none!

They still get the lowest rating but I came back to say it wasn't $7k they messed up on, it was over $4500. I will say the lady was very apologetic. After first trying to twist facts with me, she did admit to her mistake and apologized and offered to amended return at no charge. She also offered to refund the amount I paid for the service ($337) and said that HR & Block was going to give me $50 for my trouble. When I went to sign the amended return, she apologized again and gave me an envelope that I did not open until I got home. It was a Chase bank envelope with three $100 bills in it. No receipt or written transaction of the refund and $87 short of what she said she would refund. I watch enough Judge Judy to know that she does deserve something, I mean she did do work even if it was wrong so I didn't even ask about the discrepancy but it seems fishy. I will never use any HR & Block again, I was better off on my own with TaxAct!

This is the first time I've ever "needed" someone to do my taxes. I paid them over $300 and come to find out one of the forms I had was wrong, Well that's why I hired a CPA! To make sure I had the correct forms. I come home and do my own research and see she made a $7000 mistake! A mistake that I paid $340 for! I am waiting for the correct form so they can amend it. They better not charge me to amend a mistake they made!
