Treasures is the word, both in goods sold and staff, many of whom are volunteers. Bravo for their commitment to social justice!

A hidden treasure! It’s a tranquil resale shop selling mostly small items like dishes, cups, and decor, all beautifully curated and well cared for. A must see if you’re even remotely interested in Japanese culture, design, or antiques. I got my very first wall decoration for my new apartment here, a lovely old print of some koi fish.

Awesome shop based on donations from the community to help support the Japanese Community center. Ever changing supply of cool Japanese items, some common and some rare.

I love this shop for unique items for myself and to give as gifts. I love talking to the staff. Even the youngest of them have so much knowledge about everything Japan. I learn so much each time I visit and never leave empty-handed. And it is all for such a good cause.

Quaint little shop. Very nice pieces at a reasonable price. I got a kimono that I could use for work.

Nice array of Japanese kimonos, bowls, plates. The smell was very pungent, so brace yourself (reason for 4 stars). If you are sensitive to smells, send in someone else to shop for you.

Ended up losing my fully loaded Orca card getting off the bus visiting this place. My fault. I love this shop bc it exhibits the past ownership of Japanese memorabilia. It's just that the offerings are limited as is the space. A good thing is that I'm certain it procures constantly so rare finds can be had at reasonable prices, not exorbitant. I gave four stars bc of this fact. I did not purchase anything this visit but I'm sure to return on my next SEA trip.

Very small Japanese vintage shop that's run by all volunteers. Located in the Japanese Cultural Community Center on the bottom or first floor. Very nice people willing to help you out, to the best of their ability.
