Always professional, helpful, and easy to talk to. No matter who I work with. It's a good place to bank. I've been with them over 2 years now.

Absolutely a fiasco that HomeStreet bought out my bank 2-2023! HomelyStreet won't take my calls nor accept my online application for online banking. But apparently they have all my money! They sent me checks that got reversed when people deposited them, as well! Something in the Woke air in Seattle?! Sucks!

I opened a checking account with a $30,000 check. They put a hold on my funds for "up to 30 days", nominally to handle unexpected complications. With the check being from a very reputable source, with whom I had transacted many times, I assumed it would clear in a week at most They held the funds for 6 WEEKS! That is the amount of time consumed by 30 business days. REALLY? Who does business like that??? That was 2019 and they have been so so. Not bad enough to run from...but eh.

We use Homestreet at my work and I am in the process of taking over a new position. Made a small error this morning and Chloe was so lovely and kind and really helped me out by resolving my error and saving my morning in less than an hour! Thanks a million, Chloe! (And shout out to Reyah as well on the technical side of things) much appreciated!

I called the branch to get the Bank routing number and my checking account number since I don't write checks against this account so don't have these numbers. The Customer Service Rep was extremely pleasant, helpful and thorough in protecting my account. She also offered additional help and suggestions that I hadn't thought about. Great Bank to do business with.

I’ve only had negative experiences here. The teller didn’t even check my ID to get into my account. Said he “remembered” me after being there once. That’s not ok.

I found them useless, I spoke with Nicole (who won't disclose her last name but said she is the only Nicole at the Bank) and she screamed at me--hang up on her! They keep transferring my calls to different people. Save your time and money--don't open any account with them. They hit you hidden charges on your mortgage along with late fees! There escrow dept. is like a circus sideshow of disorganized clowns bumping into each other! Don't waste your time with then! When they say that they will call you back--don't count on it (attention: Veronica Mitchell)! Two months was long enough for them to reverse the charges to my account, everyday they say that Escrow has not send the money yet and they charge me an interest rate on the money they are to return to me. I will contact the Better Business Bureau to complain about this bank. I will also get my attorney involved to get every penny of my money back.

I've noticed since your Client Systems Engineer recently left, your website has been working a lot better. Keep up the good work and hire acceptable workers who can do the job.

I've had the worst customer service of any bank and had to close my account early - stay away: Home Street Bank has terrible management, poor communication and policies - it took weeks to get a response to an email, they don't deliver on their promises and cost me $$ - I am so disappointed and unhappy I ever trusted Home Street Bank.

In 2019 Homestreet sold our loan to some quack outfit. They gave little notice, and like the loan for our home, it was a complete clusterf*ck. This bank should be avoided. Their reps are not knowledgeable or helpful. In actuality, they did us a favor. The quack bank is better than Homestreet!!!! It's a relief to be rid of them. Once when I complained, they had a nasty email conversation about me & forgot to eliminate me from their email conversations so I was copied on everything they said about me. So...if you have legitimate complaints they whine & cry like babies & talk s**** They're horrible. And DO NOT under any circumstances think of a credit card with these jokers. They are incompetent & will not help you when you have dealt with a shyster company or charge that's scammy. Even with a huge credit score and impeccable payment record they were stupid. We paid our statement balance every month but when they could not resolve an issue for us by the due date, they charged us a late fee. No common sense, no thinking outside the box, just lose a customer for $28. Um...OK!

Nice of HSB to offer to let me express myself to their call center. Did that when i called to say the 6 month wait was up and time for them to pay the $300. Nope. So, i took Derryl up on his offer. Didn't get to speak to him, just the call center. And, their wait message is "Press 0 to get a call back" Nope. Just puts you in an endless loop suggesting you "Press 0 to . . .

HomeStreet Bank is the worst bank I have ever dealt with. Their customer service representatives will straight up lie to you in an attempt to get you off the phone. It took me 10 phone calls and 3 branch visits, each one a new interaction with an incompetent and deceitful employee, before I finally got the sign up bonus I had earned and wasn't given. They told me all kinds of incorrect things regarding my account, and when I would prove them wrong, they would just shrug it off like it wasn't their problem that they had just lied to me. Dishonesty isn't a good way to build a business.
