Sonic Boom is great, and Easy Street is fun, but I drove from Olympia to go to Hex Enduction. The books are curated in interesting ways (books in translation when I visited) and the selection of records is always interesting. Maybe I could make a lucite coffin and be suspended in Hex Enduction after I die. I’d haunt it happily.

The couple that run this record shop are all customer service, if you need a book, record, or tape and cannot find it anywhere, they do their absolute best to get it for you!

Amazing hole in the wall shop, a must visit on any Seattle record store tour. And don’t worry, the hex usually wears off in 3-5 business days, but you can speed it up with a little aloe & sage!

My favorite record store in Seattle. Almost directly catered to my taste, plus everyone who works there are super nice and knowledgeable. I have to force myself not to come here every week or else I'd be broke.

legendary store run by cool folks with amazing taste (post punk, kosmische, Dunedin sound and more) lots of local records and so many records I haven’t seen elsewhere. Plus a lot of very cool books!
